Instructions
Using flush-cutters cut one 3-inch and one 5-1/4 inch lengths of gold-finished 8mm double cable chain.
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open one 5mm jumpring. Pass it though the loop on one lobster claw clasp and the first link on the 3-inch length of chain. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach the last link on the 3-inch length of chain and the single loop on one antiqued brass-finished 3-stand end bar.
Open one 6mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on one antiqued gold-plated 19x5mm leaf charm and two rainbow opaque white #8 seed beads. Close the jumpring. Open one 6mm jumpring. Pass it through the previous 6mm jumpring and the first link on the 5-1/4 inch length of chain. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach the last link on the 5-1/4 inch length of chain and the single loop on one antiqued brass-finished 3-stand end bar using one 5mm jumpring.
Using scissors, cut one 9-foot length of Purely Silk™ grey thread. String the thread onto a beading needle, positioning the needle in the center of the thread creating a double strand of thread. String two metallic dark gold #6 rocaille seed beads and the first loop on the first antiqued brass-finished 3-stand end bar and pass the needle back through the two beads. Tie the thread in two overhand knots to secure in place. Place a small amount of gel adhesive on the knot for added security.
String onto the thread sixty dark gold #6 rocaille seed beads (for a total of sixty-two dark gold seed beads). Pass the thread around the first loop on the second antiqued brass-finished 3-stand end bars two times, and then pass the thread down around the second loop on the end bar.
Begin to weave an even count peyote stitch thirty-one and wide five rows long (two dark gold #6 rocaille seed bead rows, and two opaque luster antique ivory pearl #6 rocaille seed bead rows).
Weave the thread around the last loop on the end bar and back through the last two beads, then tie off the thread using two overhand knots. Place a small amount of gel adhesive on the knot for added security.
Continue to weave the thread back through the last row of ivory seed beads bringing the thread out after the thirteenth bead. String five ivory #6 rocaille seed beads, five dark gold #6 rocaille seed beads, five turquoise green #6 rocaille seed beads and one antiqued gold-plated 19x5mm leaf charm. Pass the thread back through the previous fifteen rocaille seed beads and back through the next ivory #6 rocaille seed bead on the bottom row of beads on the necklace.
String onto the thread the following to create tassels under the last row of beads in between every other ivory seed bead:
Continue to weave the thread back through the last row of ivory seed beads. Weave the thread around the last loop on the end bar and back through the last two beads, and then tie off the thread using two overhand knots. Place a small amount of gel adhesive on the knot for added security.
Using scissors, cut one 24-inch length of crystal FireLine®. String the thread onto a beading needle, positioning the needle in the center of the thread creating a double strand of thread. Pass the thread through the outside of the first loop the first antiqued gold-finished 3-stand end bar and pass the needle back through the two opaque white #8 seed beads. Tie the thread in two overhand knots to secure in place. Place a small amount of gel adhesive on the knot for added security.
String four opaque white #8 seed beads onto the thread and position the beads across the front of the three loops on the 3-stand end bar (covering the silk thread attached to the loops). Pass the thread over the outer edge of the third loop on the end bar and pass the thread back through the six beads. Tie of the end of thread using two overhand knots. Repeat to attach six opaque white #8 seed beads across the top of the three loops on the 3-stand end bar on the opposite end of the necklace.
String four opaque luster antique ivory pearl #6 ivory rocaille seed beads, three metallic dark gold #6 rocaille seed beads, and three opaque turquoise green #6 rocaille seed beads onto an eyepin. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire. Repeat to create two bead links.
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open one 6mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on one antiqued gold-plated 19x5mm leaf charm and two rainbow opaque white #8 seed beads and the bottom loop on one beading link (next to the turquoise green seed bead). Close the jumpring.
Open the loop on an earwire. Pass it though the top loop on the beading link. Close the loop.
Repeat Step 2 to create the second earring.
