Topics: Trademarks, Swarovski® Crystal

I am trying to start my jewelry-making business using Swarovski crystals. How do I go about marketing it? Is it legal for me to advertise it?

All registered trademarks, including Swarovski crystals, are owned and cannot be used by others unless proper permission is granted from the owner of the trademark. You can always contact the company and/or owner of the registered trademark for permission to use their registered trademark. It is a good idea to request and receive this permission in a written format, so that all parties have a record of the agreement.

Once you have received the proper permission, it is a great idea to include information on the products featured in your designs because advertising well-known, recognizable brands can help enhance the value of your product.
