Topics: Marketing, Promotional Gifts
I'd like to include a small gift with each order, but I'm not sure what makes the most sense. I've seen many promotional gift items like pens or stress balls, but those don't seem to have anything to do with jewelry. What to do?
Including a gift can be a wonderful way of surprising, even delighting, your customer. And you're right that it should relate to your jewelry. Some bead and jewelry sellers I know include a few extra beads that match the item the customer bought. Others include a small polishing cloth. Purchased in bulk, these little extras make an impact without breaking the bank. A small information card containing jewelry care instructions or a list of birthstones are great, too. Instead of a gift, even a brief hand-written note shows you appreciate your customers. - Dr. David Weiman
