What glue can I use to adhere paper to metal for a strong adhesion?
E6000® Jewelry and Craft adhesive is formulated to meet high performance requirements and permanently adheres to most all materials including metal and paper. It also works with: cement, hardwood, wood, aluminum, rubber, fabric, copper, leather, most plastics, glass, brass and much more.
Before applying the adhesive, use a small amount of alcohol or acetone to remove any dirt or oils from the surfaces of the metal that the paper or photograph will be adhered to. Apply a thin layer of E6000 to the surface of the metal then place the paper on top. Do not disturb for 10 minutes so a bond can be made between the two materials.
This tough, flexible and highly versatile rubber-based compound offers adhesive, contact adhesive and sealant qualities. E6000 is waterproof, washer/dryer safe, paintable and is safe to use with photographs. The adhesive sets in 5-10 minutes; for maximum strength allow the bond to dry longer than 48 hours. Use this product in a well ventilated area. Store unused E6000 at room temperature in a dry area.
