Use bead tips to connect to your clasp in this incredibly eye-catching necklace; Swarovski crystals add sparkle and rich, vibrant color. Visitors to Fire Mountain Gems and Beads never fail to comment on this necklace; grab some compliments for yourself with this easy-to-make piece.
Cut a 25-inch length of thread for the shortest strand of the necklace (this length includes a little extra in case you decide to make the strand longer after you start stringing the beads). Add a beading needle to one end of the thread.
Add a bead tip to one end of the thread.
Trim any excess thread.
Using chain-nose pliers, carefully open the loop on the bead tip and attach the clasp. Close the loop.
String the cubes onto the thread, placing one 3mm bead between each cube. Vary the sizes and colors of cubes, so they are randomly strung throughout your necklace.
When you have your strand done to the desired length, add a bead tip to the end of the strand then attach the bead tip to the corresponding loop on the other half of the clasp.
Repeat Steps 2 - 5 for the second strand, this time cut the piece of thread 28 inches.
For the third strand, repeat Step 6, cutting the thread 30-1/2 inches.
When you have all three strands done and attached to the clasp, your necklace is complete.
