Triple-Strand Bracelet with Amethyst Gemstone Beads and Sterling Silver Beads

STEP 1
Using wire nippers, cut a 12-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. String onto the wire, one crimp tube and a 1/2 inch piece of French wire. Pass the end through a ring on one end of the clasp then back through the crimp tube, leaving one end of the wire approximately 1-inch long. Pull the crimp tight against the French wire so it forms a nicely curved tube and so the crimp rests close to the clasp. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using the wire nippers, trim the excess wire from the short end.

For a more finished look, place a crimp cover over the crimp tube then gently close it using chain-nose pliers or the outer notch in the crimping pliers.

Assembling Strand One:

STEP 2
String onto the beading wire, one 3mm sterling silver bead and one amethyst emerald cut bead (have the table of the stone facing up and the second hole positioned over what will be the center row of the bracelet).

String onto the beading wire eight 3mm sterling silver beads, and one amethyst emerald cut bead (positioned the same as the first one). Repeat pattern 5 more times for a total of 6 sets.

String onto the wire one 3mm sterling silver bead.

Attaching Strand One to other half of the clasp:

STEP 3
After the last bead, place one crimp tube and a 1/2 inch length of French wire onto the beading wire. Pass the beading wire through the first ring (so it lines up with the other half of the clasp) on the second half of the clasp. Pull the wire snugly so the crimp and the French wire are positioned closer to the clasp and the last bead strung. Make sure there is no slack along the entire length of the bracelet, yet not so tight that the strand is rigid. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using wire nippers, trim the excess wire from the end. For a more finished look, gently close one sterling silver crimp cover over the crimp tube.

Assembling Strand Two:

STEP 4
Using the wire nippers cut a 12-inch length of Accu-Flex beading wire. Follow Step 1 to attach the length of wire to the middle ring on the clasp.

String onto the beading wire one 3mm sterling silver bead and the second hole from the first amethyst bead strung in strand 1. Continue stringing the following: three 3mm sterling silver beads, one amethyst bead (first hole), three 3mm sterling silver beads, the second hole in the amethyst emerald cut bead (strung in strand 1).

Repeat the pattern five more times for a total of six sets.

String onto the wire, one 3mm sterling silver bead.

Follow Step 3 to attach the end of the strand to the middle ring on the other half of the clasp.

Assembling Strand Three:

STEP 5
Using the wire nippers, cut a 12-inch length of Accu-Flex beadig wire. Follow Step 1 to attach the length of wire to the last ring on the clasp.

String onto the beading wire, six 3mm sterling silver beads and the second hole of the amethyst bead (strung in Strand 2).

String onto the beading wire eight 3mm sterling silver beads, and the second hole of the amethyst bead (strung in Strand 2). Repeat the pattern four more times for a total of five sets. String onto the wire four 3mm sterling silver beads.

Follow Step 3 to attach the end of the strand to the last hole on the other half of the clasp.
