Multi-Strand Necklace and Earring Set with Sterling Silver Chain and Gemstone Beads

STEP 1
Using the side-cutting pliers, cut a 31-inch length of curved tube chain. Cut the following lengths of sterling silver round cable chain: three pieces 6 inches long and three piece 4 inches long. Cut the following lengths of sterling silver ribbed Figaro chain: two pieces 6 inches long and two pieces 10 inches long. Cut the following lengths of sterling silver tube chain: one piece 6 inches long and one piece 10 inches long.
STEP 2
Place one 3mm tanzanite bicone, one 8mm Indicolite round and one 3mm tanzanite bicone onto an eyepin. Make a simple loop at the end of the eyepin to create a double loop bead link. Repeat to create a second tanzanite-indicolite bead link.
STEP 3
Repeat Step 2 to create the following bead links using one bead for each:
  • One 8mm indicolite round
  • One 8mm faceted round amethyst
  • Five 12mm faceted round amethysts
  • Three 14x10 carved oval fluorites
  • Two 14x10 rose quartz rectangles
  • Two aquamarine tumbled nuggets
STEP 4
Using two pair of chain-nose pliers, open a 3.8mm jumpring. Pass the open jumpring through the last link in each 6-inch length of round cable chain and the loop on the toggle half of the clasp. Close the jumpring.

Open a jumpring and pass it through the last link on the other end of each 6-inch length of round cable chain and through one loop of a four-loop link. Close the jumpring.
STEP 5
Using chain-nose pliers, open the loop on one end of a 12mm faceted amethyst link and pass it through the bottom loop (the loop opposite from the loop the chains are attached to) in the four-loop link added in Step 4. Close the loop.

Open the bottom loop of the 12mm faceted amethyst link and pass it through one loop on one tanzanite-indicolite bead link made in Step 2. Close the loop.

Open the bottom loop of the tanzanite-indicolite bead link and pass it through a loop on the 31x28mm open round focal component. Close the loop.

Open a jumpring and pass it through the bottom loop of the round focal component and through a loop on one carved fluorite bead link. Close the loop.

Connect the following after the carved fluorite bead link: a 12mm faceted round amethyst bead link, a four-loop link and an oval aquamarine nugget bead link.
STEP 6
Open a 3.8mm jumpring and pass it through the bottom loop of the aquamarine nugget bead link, the last link in two 6-inch lengths of ribbed figaro chain and the last link in one 6-inch length of tube chain. Close the jumpring.

Repeat to attach two 10-inch lengths of ribbed figaro chain and one 10-inch length of tube chain to the aquamarine link.
STEP 7
Open a 3.8mm jumpring and pass it through the last two links in the two 6-inch lengths of ribbed figaro chain and one 6-inch length of tube chain from Step 6 and through a loop on one 8mm faceted amethyst link. Close the jumpring.
STEP 8
Open the loop on the other end of the 8mm faceted amethyst link and pass it through the loop on a four loop link. Close the loop.

Continue to link one of each of the following together:
  • 14x10mm carved fluorite bead link
  • 14x10mm rose quartz rectangular bead link
  • 12mm faceted amethyst link
  • Sterling silver square component (on a small central circle)
  • Tanzanite and indicolite bead link (to the opposite central circle on the silver square component)
  • 12mm faceted amethyst link
  • Aquamarine nugget bead link
  • 14x10mm carved fluorite link
  • 14x10mm rose quartz rectangular bead link
  • 12mm faceted amethyst link
  • 12mm faceted amethyst link
STEP 9
Open a 3.8mm jumpring and pass it through the last link in one 10-inch length of ribbed figaro chain from Step 6 and through the lower outside corner of the sterling silver square component. Close the jumpring.

Repeat, attaching a 10-inch length of tube chain to the lower inside corner of the sterling silver square component.

Repeat attaching a 10-inch length of ribbed figaro chain to the central circle on the right side of the sterling silver square component.
STEP 10
Open a jumpring and pass it through the last link in each 4-inch length of round cable chain and through the loop on the last 8mm indicolite bead link added in Step 8. Close the jumpring.

Repeat to attach the other ends of the chain to the loop on the toggle ring half of the clasp.
STEP 11
Open a 3.8mm jumpring and pass it through the last link in the 31-inch length of curved-tube chain and the loop on one half of the clasp. Close the jumpring.

Repeat to attach the other end of the chain to the other half of the clasp to finish the necklace.
