Multi-Strand Necklace with Swarovski Crystal Pearls, White Lotus™ Cultured Freshwater Pearls and Czech Glass Seed Beads

STEP 1
Using wire nippers, cut a length of Accu-Flex® professional quality beading wire 10-1/2 inches long. Place a crimp tube with loop, non-loop end first, onto one end of the Accu-Flex®. Be sure the wire is all the way through the crimp and just to the end of the crimp (so no wire is sticking out). Using chain-nose pliers, compress the center section to secure the crimp tube on the Accu-Flex®.

Repeat for a total of 10 strands.

Strand 1

STEP 2
String 9-1/4 inches of beads, stringing in a random order, placing cultured freshwater stick pearls about every 1-1/2 inches and ending with a 4mm faceted round bead. Compress the ends of a mini bead stopper to open the center spring area and slip on the end of the Accu-Flex®, keeping the beads in place; set the strand aside.

Repeat to make a second, matching strand.

Strand 2

STEP 3
String two 6mm cultured freshwater pearls, one 3mm Swarovski crystal jet bicone bead and three 6mm cultured freshwater pearls.
STEP 4
Compare the bead strand started in Step 3 to either strand 1 bead strand, making sure the beads will lie properly next to each other. String enough 3mm Swarovski crystal jet bicone beads onto the growing bead strand to equal the width of the cultured freshwater stick pearl strung on strand 1.

String approximately 1-1/4 inches of pearls and 3mm Swarovski crystal jet bicone beads in a random fashion; this should position your beads in strand 2 against the next cultured freshwater stick pearl in strand 1.
STEP 5
Repeat Step 3 until strand 2 is 9-1/2 inches long. String two 3mm Swarovski crystal jet bicone beads to end the strand. Clip a bead stopper on the end of the Accu-Flex® to keep the beads in place; set the strand aside.

Strand 3

STEP 6
String 8-3/4 inches of opaque black size 11 seed beads. Clip a mini-bead stopper on the end of the Accu-Flex® to keep the beads in place; set the strand aside.

Repeat to create a second, matching strand.

Strand 4

STEP 7
String 8-1/4 inches of 8mm cultured freshwater pearls. Add one vitrail faceted rondelle and three vitrail 4mm faceted round beads. Clip a mini-bead stopper onto the end of the Accu-Flex® to keep the beads in place; set the strand aside.

Repeat to make a second, matching strand.

Strand 5

STEP 8
String 8-1/4 inches of a mix of 4mm round vitrail and hematite faceted round beads. Repeat to make a second, matching strand.
STEP 9
Remove the bead stopper from strand 2 then string on the outside crimp on one multi-strand crimp tube end. Pull the Accu-Flex® so the bottom of the crimp tube rests against the last Swarovski crystal 3mm jet bicone bead.
STEP 10
Before securing the crimp to the strand, flex the strand to make sure it isn't rigid and that it has a nice drape; if the strand is rigid, pull out enough Accu-Flex® so there is a nice drape. Using chain-nose pliers, crimp the center section of the crimp tube. Pull on the strand to be sure it is secure. If you feel the strand budge at all, tighten up any new slack and compress the center section again.
STEP 11
Remove the bead stopper from strand 1 then pass the Accu-Flex® into the next hole on the crimp tube end--but only pass the wire through the first hole. With the Accu-Flex® coming out of the opening below the crimping section, string on two opaque black seed beads. Pass the Accu-Flex® through the next hole and into the crimp section so the bottom of the crimp end rests against the last bead in strand 1. Repeat Step 9 to secure.
STEP 12
Remove the bead stopper from strand 3 then pass the Accu-Flex® through the next hole in the crimp-tube clasp end and pull the Accu-Flex® until the bottom of the crimp rests against the last bead in the strand.

Repeat Step 9 to secure.
STEP 13
Remove the bead stopper from strand 4 then pass the Accu-Flex® through the next hole in the crimp-tube clasp end and pull the Accu-Flex® until the bottom of the crimp rests against the last bead in the strand. Repeat Step 9 to secure.
STEP 14
Remove the bead stopper from strand 5 then pass the Accu-Flex® through the next hole in the crimp-tube clasp end and pull the Accu-Flex® until the bottom of the crimp rests against the last bead in the strand. Repeat Step 9 to secure.

Repeat Steps 9-14 for the other five strands, creating a mirror image of the first five strands.
STEP 15
Open the jumpring connecting the ring and bar of the toggle clasp together and separate the two halves. Repeat for the second toggle clasp. Set one bar-half aside for another project.
STEP 16
Open a jumpring and pass it through the loop on the bottom of strand 2 and the ring half of the toggle clasp; close the jumpring. Repeat attaching each bead strand to the ring in the order they are attached to the multi-strand crimp end. Repeat adding the other five strands to the other side of the toggle ring.
STEP 17
Using wire nippers, cut a 9-1/4 inch length of chain. Open a jumpring and connect the last link on one end of the chain to the crimp tube end between strands 1 and 2. Open a jumpring and connect the last link on the other end of the chain to the toggle ring between strands 1 and 3.
STEP 18
Open a jumpring and connect the loop on the end of one crimp-tube end to the loop on the bar half of the clasp; close the jumpring to secure. Repeat, attaching the loop on the ring half of the clasp to the loop on the other crimp tube end.
STEP 19
String one bead onto a headpin. Create a simple loop to secure the bead. Repeat to create 25 bead drops.
STEP 20
Cut four lengths of chain, approximately 5 inches long. Open one jumpring and link on the lengths of chain so the length of chain on each side of the jumpring vary, creating eight different lengths of chain. Open the loop on the top of one bead drop. Pass the open loop through the last link in one length of chain then close the loop. Repeat adding a drop to each end of each length of chain. Randomly add bead drops to all the lengths of chain.
STEP 21
Open a jumpring and add a link from each length of chain, choosing a different link in each length so the chains hang in random lengths. Link the open jumpring through the loop on the toggle half of the clasp; close the jumpring to secure and finish.
