Bib-Style Necklace with Swarovski Crystal

This necklace is created to beautifully twist and turn, giving a ruffled-edge appearance to the overall design.

Row 1:

STEP 1
Using scissors, cut a 3-yard length of Nymo® thread. Thread a needle onto the end first off the spool.

Tip: Thread is woven in one direction. It is good to work the thread in the direction it comes off of the spool, which is the direction it is woven, so it knots and in general works better in your designs.

String one pearl and three 4mm light amethyst AB bicones. Bring the beads to the end of the thread, leaving a short tail. String one 1/2 inch piece of French wire and one half of the toggle clasp and bring them down toward the beads. Pass the thread back through the first 4mm bicone closest to the clasp and tie a half-hitch knot. Pass the working thread through the second and third 4mm bicones, tying another knot after each. Pass the working thread through the pearl.
