Necklace

Beaded Rope

STEP 1
Add a beading needle to an arm-length of Fireline® thread.
STEP 2
Pick up four rainbow cobalt #8 seed beads. Leaving a 6-inch tail, pass through the beads again and pull snug to create Circle A. Tie a surgeon's knot. Pass the needle through an adjacent bead (this is now Bead A1).
STEP 3
Pick up one galvanized silver #8 seed bead, one cobalt and one silver. Pass through A1 again and pull tight to create Circle B.
STEP 4
Pass through Bead A2. Pick up one silver and one cobalt. Pass through B1 and A2. Pull tight to create Circle C.
STEP 5
Pass through Bead A3. Pick up one silver and one cobalt. Pass through C1 and A3. Pull tight to create Circle D.
STEP 6
Pass through A4 and B3. Pick up one cobalt then pass through D1. Pull tight to create Circle E.
STEP 7
Pass through A3, A2, A1 and B3. Pass through E1, D1, C2 and B2 twice, pulling tight to close the last side of the cube.
STEP 8
Using the last circle created as the new Circle A, repeat Steps 3 - 7 to create a beaded rope.
STEP 9
Pass through the loop of an eye pin and the beads of the last circle three times, pulling to bring the eye pin snug to the beads. Tie a small knot and trim the thread.

Add a beading needle to the thread tail and repeat to add an eye pin to the beginning of the beaded rope.
STEP 10
String a cone and a 3mm silver-plated round onto the eye pin at the end of the necklace then create a wrapped loop.

Repeat at the other end of the necklace.

Use 4mm jump rings to add a toggle clasp to the necklace.

Pendant

STEP 11
Cut a 6-inch length of 21-gauge twisted wire. Hold the outside edge of a donut at the center of the wire. Wrap one end of the wire through the donut and back to the outer edge. Repeat with the second end of the wire in the opposite direction.
STEP 12
Bring both wires straight out from the donut. Create a simple loop approximately 1/4 of an inch up one wire. Do not trim the wire.

Carefully string a bead from the center of the rope onto the loop then finish by creating a wrapped loop. Trim the wire.
STEP 13
Wrap the second wire down around the stem of the simple loop. Trim the wire.
STEP 14
Use the tip of chain-nose pliers to slightly twist the wires around the bail, taking up any slack and creating texture.

Earrings

STEP 1
Add a beading needle to an arm-length of Fireline® thread.
STEP 2
Pick up four rainbow cobalt #8 seed beads. Leaving a 6-inch tail, pass through the beads again and pull snug to create Circle A. Tie a surgeon’s knot. Pass the needle through an adjacent bead (this is now Bead A1).

Continue to stitch cubic right angle weave to the desired length. Stitch through various beads to secure the thread. If desired, tie a small knot for additional security. Trim the thread.
STEP 3
String a 6mm faceted Hemalyke™ round, the stitched tube of CRAW and a second 6mm round onto a head pin then create a wrapped loop.

Attach the drop to the loop of an ear wire.
STEP 4
Repeat Steps 1 - 4 to create a second earring.
