Single-Strand Necklace with Turquoise and Amber Gemstone Beads and Antiqued Pewter Beads and Pendant

STEP 1
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 5mm jumpring. Pass the open ring through a loop on the lobster claw clasp. Close the jumpring.

Repeat to add a 5mm jumpring to a 7mm jumpring to create the other half of the clasp.
STEP 2
Using side-cutting pliers, cut a 24-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional quality beading wire. String onto the wire one crimp tube, one 4mm silver round bead, a 1/2-inch piece of French wire and the jumpring attached to the lobster half of the clasp. Pass the wire back through the bead and crimp tube, leaving one end of the wire approximately 1-inch long. Pull the crimp tight against the French wire and the clasp so the French wire is formed in a nicely curved tube. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using side-cutting pliers, trim the excess wire from the short end.
STEP 3
String onto the beading wire the following components:
  • One 7-9mm turquoise nugget
  • One 5mm pewter fancy round bead
  • Three 7-13mm amber chips
  • One 5mm pewter fancy round bead
  • One 7-9 mm turquoise nugget
  • One 12x7mm pewter cylinder bead
Repeat three times for a total of four sets.
STEP 4
String onto the beading wire:
  • One 7-9 mm turquoise nugget
  • One 5mm pewter fancy round bead
  • Three 7-13mm amber chips
  • One 5mm pewter fancy round bead
  • One 7-9 mm turquoise nugget
STEP 5
String onto the beading wire one 41x35mm pewter bull skull pendant.
STEP 6
Repeat Step 4 and 3, backwards, to create the second half of the strand in a mirror image of the first half of the strand.
STEP 7
String on one crimp tube, one 4mm silver round bead and a 1/2-inch piece of French wire and the 5mm jumpring attached to the 7mm jumpring. Pass the wire back through the bead and the crimp then pull the wire snugly so the crimp and the French wire are closer to the jumpring. Make sure there is no slack along the length of the necklace. Place a small amount of gel adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using side-cutting pliers, trim excess wire from the end.
