Woven Section of the Necklace

STEP 5
Cut a 40-inch length of .014-inch diameter Accu-Flex® and pass it through the 14th bead from the clasp, the crimp bead and the 15th bead. String on a bugle bead, a 6mm top-drilled faceted bicone jonquil bead, a bugle bead, 6mm chrysolite bicone crystal bead, 6mm top-drilled faceted bicone crystal AB bead, and a 6mm chrysolite bicone crystal bead.

Repeat 10 times. Add a bugle bead, a 6mm top-drilled faceted bicone jonquil bead and a bugle bead then pass the beading wire through the 15th bead from the second half of the clasp, the crimp bead and the 14th bead from the clasp.
STEP 6
Loop the wire back through the 14th bead, the crimp and the 15th bead--do not pull the wire all the way through or you will undo this pass. Check the tension on the strand, make sure the crystals are lining up the same on both halves of the necklace. Crimp the crimp bead near the loop. Trim the wire so there are no ends of beading wire sticking out.
STEP 7
Continue the netting pattern: pass the wire through the next two beads in the main strand and string on a bugle bead. String the following:
  • 6mm top-drilled faceted bicone crystal AB bead
  • Two 3mm crystal AB bicone beads
  • One 6mm chrysolite bicone crystal bead
  • Two 3mm crystal AB beads
Repeat nine times for a total of 10. Add a 6mm top-drilled faceted bicone crystal AB bead.
STEP 8
String on a bugle bead then pass the beading wire through the third bead from the crimp tube (17th from the end). Go through the next crystal bead on the main strand (16th from the end), the bugle bead added in Step 5, then through the 6mm top-drilled faceted bicone jonquil bead.

String on a bugle bead then go back through the third bead from the crimp on the main strand (17th from the end)--making a triangle in the corner of the netting, joining the two rows together. Pass the wire through the bugle bead (added in the beginning of this step) and the 6mm top-drilled faceted bicone crystal AB bead.

String on a bugle bead, skip one crystal bead on the main strand (19th from the end) then go through the next crystal bead. String on a bugle bead then go through the 6mm top-drilled faceted bicone jonquil bead. String on a bugle bead then skip one crystal bead on the main strand and go through the next crystal bead. String on a bugle bead then go through the 6mm top-drilled faceted bicone crystal AB bead. Zig zagging your way between the two layers of beads, joining them together, creating a netted effect.

Continue this pattern until you are across the woven section of the necklace. Go through the crimp bead. Make sure there are no gaps between the beads, crimp your crimp bead then trim the excess wire.
STEP 9
Use the front notch of your crimping pliers or a pair of chain-nose pliers to place a crimp cover over the crimped crimp beads.
STEP 10
Remove a bead stopper from one end. String onto the wire one crimp tube, a 1/2 inch piece of French wire and the jumpring attached to the hook half of the clasp. Pass the wire back through the crimp tube, leaving one end of the wire approximately 1 inch long. Pull the crimp tight against the French wire and the jumpring so the French wire is formed in a nicely curved tube. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Trim the excess wire from the short end.

For a more finished look, place a crimp cover over the crimp.

Repeat Step 10 to attach the other half of the necklace to the eye portion of the clasp.

STEP 1
String one 6mm chrysolite bicone crystal onto a sterling silver 1-inch eyepin. Repeat to create a total of two 6mm chrysolite bicone crystal links.

Repeat to create the following eight links, using one bead and one 1-inch sterling silver eyepin for each:
  • Two 4mm jonquil bicone crystal links
  • Two 4mm chrysolite bicone crystal links

  • Two 4mm jonquil bicone crystal drops
  • Two 4mm chrysolite bicone crystal drops
  • Two 4mm light peach bicone crystal drops

Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, open the loop on one end of one 4mm light peach bicone crystal link then pass the open loop through the loop on one 4mm jonquil bicone crystal drop. Close the loop. Open the loop on the other end of the 4mm light peach bicone crystal link and pass the open loop through the first loop on the sterling silver drop. Close the loop.

Repeat to connect the following sets together:
  • One 4mm crystal AB bicone crystal link and one 4mm chrysolite bicone crystal, attached to the second loop on the sterling silver drop
  • One 4mm jonquil bicone crystal link and one 4mm crystal AB bicone crystal drop attached to the third loop on the sterling silver drop
  • One 4mm chrysolite bicone crystal link and one 4mm light peach bicone crystal drop attached to the fourth loop on the sterling silver drop
STEP 4
Using one pair of chain-nose pliers, open the top loop on the 6mm chrysolite bicone crystal link and pass it though the loop on one earwire. Close the loop. Repeat to attach the bottom loop of the 6mm chrysolite bicone crystal link to the top loop of the sterling silver drop

Repeat Steps 3 and 4 to create the second earring.
