Single-Strand Necklace with Cultured Freshwater Pearls and 14Kt Gold-Filled Beads

STEP 1
Using flush-cutters, cut a 22-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.
STEP 2
String onto the wire one crimp tube, one 4mm corrugated twist round gold-filled bead, a 1/2 inch piece of French wire and the jumpring attached to the hook half of the clasp. Pass the wire back through the 4mm bead and the crimp tube, leaving one end of the wire approximately 1-inch long. Pull the crimp tight against the French wire and the jumpring so the French wire is formed in a nicely curved tube. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim the excess wire from the short end.
STEP 3
String onto the beading wire the following:
  • One 4mm corrugated twist round gold-filled bead
  • One 6mm corrugated rondelle bead
  • One freshwater pearl
STEP 4
String onto the beading wire the following:
  • One 7x4mm corrugated rondelle gold-filled bead
  • One freshwater pearl
Repeat twenty-six times for a total of twenty-seven sets.
STEP 5
String onto the beading wire the following:
  • One 6mm corrugated rondelle bead
  • One 4mm corrugated twist round gold-filled bead
STEP 6
String on one crimp tube, one 4mm corrugated twist round gold-filled bead, a 1/2 inch piece of French wire and the jumpring on the second half of the clasp. Pass the wire back through the 4mm bead and the crimp then pull the wire snugly so the French wire makes a nicely curved tube. Make sure there is no slack along the length of the necklace. Place a small amount of gel adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim excess wire from the end.
