Single-Strand Necklace with Hand-Faceted Glass Beads and Brass Bead Caps

STEP 1
Using the flush-cutters, cut a 24-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.
STEP 2
String onto the wire, one bead tip with the hook toward the end of the wire and one crimp tube leaving one end of the wire approximately 1-inch long. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim excess wire from the short end.
STEP 3
Using chain-nose pliers, close the bead tip over the crimp.
STEP 4
String onto the wire one gold-plated bead cap and one silver-plated bead cap (cup side toward the center of the necklace). Repeat 149 times for a total of 150 sets.
STEP 5
String onto the beading wire the following components:
  • 16mm faceted round aqua blue crystal
  • Two gold-plated bead caps
  • 16mm faceted round light blue crystal
  • Two gold-plated bead caps
Repeat three times for a total of four sets.
STEP 6
String onto the beading wire one 16mm faceted round aqua blue crystal.
STEP 7
String onto the wire one gold-plated bead cap and one silver-plated bead cap (cup side toward the center of the necklace). Repeat 149 times for a total of 150 sets.
STEP 8
String onto the wire, one bead tip with the hook toward the end of the wire and one crimp tube. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim excess wire from the short end.
STEP 9
Using chain-nose pliers, close the bead tip over the crimp.
STEP 10
Pass the hook on the bead tip through the loop on the lobster claw clasp. Gently close the hook using chain-nose pliers. Repeat to attach the hook on the opposite end of the strand to an 8mm jumpring.
