Earrings with Delica® Seed Beads and Sterling Silver Triangle Jumprings

Seed Beaded Triangle Jumprings

STEP 1
Cut one 7-1/2 inch length of sterling silver half-hard 20-gauge wire.
STEP 2
String three seed beads onto the wire. Place one length of wire into the 4 and 6mm (small) Wubbers® triangle mandrel pliers (4mm mandrel down), approximately 2mm from the end. Bend the long end of the wire down around the side of the mandrel.
STEP 3
Move one seed bead into the corner just created then place the wire into the mandrel (4mm side down) close to the seed bead; bend the wire down.

Repeat once more to finish the triangle jumpring.
STEP 4

Remove the jumpring from the mandrel and push the last seed bead into the corner just created. String a seed bead onto the opposite end of the wire so there is a seed bead in either corner of the base, then cut the wire in the center of the base were the two ends overlap.

Tip: To make sure the cut is centered line the flat side of the cutters up with the top vertex of the triangle jumpring.
STEP 5
Repeat Steps 2 - 5 to create a total of six seed beaded triangle jumprings.
STEP 6
Create six jumprings using the 11mm side of the large mandrel pliers and six jumprings using the 16mm side of the jumbo mandrel pliers.

Tip: Use the "How to Use the Wubbers® Triangular Mandrel Pliers" how-to video below for instructions on creating multiple uniform jumprings at the same time.

STEP 9
Arrange a second set of triangle jumprings then pass an oval jumpring through all three jumprings and the two smaller jumprings of the previous set.
