Bib-Style Necklace with Antiqued Gold Pewter Focals and Links, Swarovski Crystal Beads, Crystal Rhinestone Chatons and Organza Ribbon

STEP 1
Using the G-S hypo cement, attach a 4.1mm light Siam chaton into the center setting of the 47mm antiqued gold filigree focal piece.
STEP 2
Repeat to attach a 3.2mm light Siam chaton to the center setting and ten 2.8mm emerald green chatons to the surrounding settings on a 24x24mm flower antiqued gold charm. Repeat to create four emerald green 24x24mm flower antiqued gold charms.
STEP 3
Repeat to attach a 3.2mm emerald green chaton to the center setting and ten 2.8mm light Siam chatons to the surrounding settings on a 24x24mm flower antiqued gold charm. Repeat to create six light Siam 24x24mm flower antiqued gold charms.
STEP 4
Repeat to attach three 3.2mm light Siam chaton to the settings on a 7x7mm Y-connector antiqued gold link. Repeat to create two light Siam 7x7mm Y-connector antiqued gold links.
STEP 5
Repeat to attach a 4.2mm sapphire chaton to the center setting and a 3.2mm sapphire chaton to the body of a 53x48mm butterfly antiqued gold focal piece. Attach two 2.8mm lavender chatons to the ends of the antennae of the butterfly. Attach six 2.8mm crystal AB chatons to each upper section of the wings of the butterfly. Attach three 2.8mm iris chatons to each lower section of the wings of the butterfly.
STEP 6
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 6mm fancy jumpring. Pass it through the loop on a light Siam 24x24mm flower antiqued gold charm. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach a jumpring to the loop on six light Siam 24x24mm flower antiqued gold charms and one 47mm antiqued gold filigree focal piece.
STEP 7
Open a 6mm jumpring. Pass the open ring through a 20mm round gold-plated drop. Close the jumpring.

Repeat to attach a 6mm jumpring to the second 20mm round gold-plated drop.
STEP 8
Using flush-cutters, cut a 14-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. String onto the wire one crimp tube, a gold-plated Accu-Guard and the jumpring on a 20mm round gold-plated drop. Pass the wire back through the crimp tube, leaving one end of the wire approximately 1-inch long. Pull the crimp tight against the Accu-Guard. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite) inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim the excess wire from the short end.

For a more finished look, place a crimp cover over the crimp tube then gently close it.
STEP 9
String onto the beading wire the following components:
  • One crimp cover
  • Two 4mm bicone emerald crystals
  • One 4mm bicone light Siam crystal
  • One 6mm bicone light Siam crystal
  • The jumpring on one light Siam 24x24mm flower antiqued gold charm
  • One 6mm bicone light Siam crystal
  • One 4mm bicone emerald crystal
  • One 6mm bicone emerald crystal
  • One 4mm bicone emerald crystal
  • One 6mm bicone light Siam crystal
  • The jumpring on one light Siam 24x24mm flower antiqued gold charm
  • One 6mm bicone light Siam crystal
  • One 4mm bicone emerald crystal
  • One 6mm bicone emerald crystal
  • One 4mm bicone emerald crystal
  • One 6mm bicone light Siam crystal
  • The jumpring on one light Siam 24x24mm flower antiqued gold charm
  • One 8mm bicone light Siam crystal
  • One 4mm bicone light Siam crystal
  • One 4mm bicone emerald crystal
  • One 8mm bicone emerald crystal

STEP 10
Repeat Step 9, backwards, to create the second half of the strand in a mirror image of the first half of the strand.
STEP 11
String on one crimp tube, a gold-plated Accu-Guard and the jumpring on the second 20mm round gold-plated drop. Pass the wire back through the crimp tube, pulling the wire tight against the last bead. Make sure there is no slack along the length of the necklace. Place a small amount of gel adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim excess wire from the end.
STEP 12
Open a 6mm fancy jumpring. Pass it through the loop on a emerald green 24x24mm flower antiqued gold charm and the fifth petal loop on the second light Siam 24x24mm flower antiqued gold charm. Close the jumpring.

Repeat to attach an emerald green 24x24mm flower antiqued gold charm to the fifth petal loop on the third, fourth and fifth light Siam 24x24mm flower antiqued gold charm.
STEP 13
Open a 6mm fancy jumpring. Pass it through the third petal on the first emerald green 24x24mm flower antiqued gold charm and the eighth petal on the second emerald green 24x24mm flower antiqued gold charm.

Repeat to attach the third petal on the third emerald green 24x24mm flower antiqued gold charm and the eighth petal on the fourth emerald green 24x24mm flower antiqued gold charm.
STEP 14
Open a 6mm fancy jumpring. Pass it through the third petal on the second emerald green 24x24mm flower antiqued gold charm and the first loop on a light Siam Y-connector link. Pass a 6mm jumpring through the second loop on the light Siam Y-connector link and the top of the left side of the butterfly wing.

Repeat Step 14 to attach the right side of the butterfly wing to the eighth petal on the third emerald green 24x24mm flower antiqued gold charm using a light Siam Y-connector link in between.
STEP 15
Using scissors, cut two 36-inch lengths of green organza ribbon and two 36-inch lengths of white organza ribbon.
STEP 16
Match the ends of one green and one white organza ribbon. Fold the ribbons in half. Pass the loop through the opening of one drop on one end of the beaded strand. Pass the ends of the ribbon through the loop. Pull the ends to tighten the lark's head knot. Repeat with other lengths of ribbon and the other drop on the other end of the necklace.
