- Bead, Swarovski crystal and silver-plated zinc, light Colorado topaz, 3.9mm montées (4 beads)
- Bead, Swarovski crystal and silver-plated zinc, light Colorado topaz, 6.4mm montées (10 beads)
- Bead, Swarovski crystal and silver-plated zinc, peridot, 6.4mm montées (6 beads)
- Bead, silver-plated brass, 3mm smooth round (30 beads)
- Jumpring, silver-plated, 4mm round, 22 gauge (52 jumprings)
- Jumpring, silver-plated, 6mm round, 20 gauge (32 jumprings)
- Eyepin, silver-plated brass, 1-inch, 21 gauge (10 eyepins)
- Earwire, silver-plated brass, 19mm fishhook with 3mm ball and 4mm coil with open loop, 20 gauge (2 earwires)
- Chain, silver-plated brass, 2.2mm cable
- Pliers, round-nose
- Pliers, chain-nose
- Pliers, flat-nose
- Pliers, flush-cutter
STEP 1
Using flush-cutters, cut four 1/2-inch lengths of silver-plated 2.2mm cable chain.
STEP 2
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 4mm jumpring. Pass it from left to right through the first and second holes on the back of a light Colorado topaz 3.9mm montée. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach a 4mm jumpring to the third and fourth holes on the back of the light Colorado topaz 3.9mm montée and two 4mm jumprings.
Repeat to attach 4mm jumprings to four light Colorado topaz 3.9mm montées.
STEP 3
Repeat Step 2 to attach a 6mm jumpring through the first and second hole and a 6mm jumpring through the third and fourth hole on ten light Colorado topaz 6.4mm montées and six peridot 6.4mm montées.
STEP 4
Open a 4mm jumpring. Pass it through the 4mm jumpring attached to the bottom of a Colorado topaz 3.9mm montée and a 6mm jumpring attached to the top of a light Colorado topaz 6.4mm montée. Repeat to attach another 4mm jumpring next to the first 4mm jumpring.
STEP 5
Continue to attach two 4mm jumprings between each of the following components:

Light Colorado topaz 6.4mm montées

Peridot 6.4mm montées

Light Colorado topaz 6.4mm montées
Attach two 4mm jumprings to the last set of 6mm jumprings on the bottom of the last set of montées.
Repeat Steps 4 and 5 to create another strand of montées attached with 4mm jumprings.
STEP 6
Repeat Steps 4 and 5 to create two strands of montées substituting a peridot 6.4mm montée for the last light Colorado topaz 6.4mm montée.
STEP 7
Open a 4mm jumpring. Pass it through the 4mm jumpring on the top of the light Colorado topaz 3.4mm montée from Step 5 and the 4mm jumpring on the top of the light Colorado topaz 3.4mm montée from Step 6. Close the jumpring. Repeat to pass a second 4mm jumpring next to the first jumpring.
Continue to attach two 4mm jumprings to each of the 6mm jumprings on the corresponding montée on the second strand, linking the two strands together.
STEP 8
Repeat Step 7 to attach the remaining two strands of montées together, reversing the strands so the strand with the last peridot montée is on the left side creating a mirror image of the first set.
STEP 9
Using round-nose pliers, flat-nose pliers and flush-cutters, clip the eye off of the end of an eyepin. Finish one end of the wire with a small simple loop. String onto the eyepin one 3mm round silver-plated bead. Pass the eyepin horizontally through the first set of 4mm jumprings between the Colorado topaz 3.9mm montées and the light Colorado topaz 6.4mm montées. String onto the eyepin another 3mm round silver-plated bead. Pass the eyepin horizontally through the second set of 4mm jumprings between the Colorado topaz 3.9mm montées and the light Colorado topaz 6.4mm montées. String onto the eyepin a third 3mm silver-plated bead. Finish the wire with a small simple loop.
Repeat Step 9 to attach an eyepin with 3mm round silver-plated beads horizontally in between each set of montées and after the last set of montées.
STEP 10
Open a 4mm jumpring. Pass it through the first link on two 1/2-inch lengths of chain and the loop on an earwire. Close the jumpring.
STEP 11
Open a 4mm jumpring. Pass it through the last link on one 1/2-inch length of chain and the 4mm jumpring attached to the light Colorado topaz 3.4mm montée attached in Step 2. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach the second length of chain to the 4mm jumpring attached to the second light Colorado topaz 3.4mm montée.
Repeat Steps 10 and 11 to assemble second earring.
