Swarovski’s keystone beads are stylishly brilliant and versatile, offering a multitude of design applications with their parallel, side-drilled holes. This Art Deco inspired shape doubles as a pendant and bead, and can be strung side-by-side in an alternating fashion or similar direction (as seen in this bracelet design) for stunning results. The intricate details ...
Using flush-cutters cut two 10-inch lengths of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.
String onto the end of one 10-inch length of beading wire, one 2x2mm sterling silver crimp bead and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp bead. Pull the crimp bead snug against the Accu-Guard. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional). Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead. Using flush-cutters, trim the excess wire from the short end. Place a silver-plated 4mm stardust crimp cover over the crimp bead then gently close it.
Repeat Step 2.
String one 10-inch length of beading wire through the hole on the large end of four Swarovski crystal copper 13x7mm double-drilled keystone beads.
String the second 10-inch length of beading wire through the hole on the small end of the same four Swarovski crystal copper 13x7mm double-drilled keystone beads.
String the small end of four Swarovski crystal AB 13x7mm double-drilled keystone beads onto the length of beading wire in Step 2.
String the large end of four Swarovski crystal AB 13x7mm double-drilled keystone beads onto the length of beading wire in Step 3.
Repeat Steps 2 - 5 to string a total of five sets of Swarovski crystal copper 13x7mm double-drilled keystone bead and five sets of Swarovski crystal AB 13x7mm double-drilled keystone beads onto the beading wires.
Pull the beading wires so that the keystone beads rest snug against each other and against the crimp covers on the end of the bracelet.
Repeat Step 2 on the opposite ends of the beading wire to secure the beads in place.
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and bent-nose pliers open one silver-plated 5mm round jumpring. Pass the jumpring through the Accu-Guard on the large end of the four Swarovski crystal copper 13x7mm double-drilled keystone beads and one loop on the filigree box portion of the clasp. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach one 6.5x5mm silver-plated oval jumpring to the Accu-Guard on the small end of four Swarovski crystal copper 13x7mm double-drilled keystone beads and the second loop on the filigree box portion of the clasp.
Repeat to attach the tab portion of the clasp to the Accu-Guards on the opposite end.
Tip: In order to assure the clasp is facing the correct way on both ends, close the clasp while attaching it to the bracelet.
