Bib-Style Necklace and Earring Set with Gold-Finished "Pewter" Drops and Focal, Half Tila® Beads and Seed Beads

Necklace

STEP 1
Using one pair of chain-nose pliers and one pair of bent-nose pliers, open the loop on the end of the insert portion of the clasp. Place the jumpring in the loop. Close the loop. Repeat to attach a 6mm jumpring to the outer portion of the clasp.
STEP 2
Using scissors cut a 100-inch length of smoke FireLine®. Place a beading needle onto one end of the thread.
STEP 3
String onto the thread the bottom hole of one gold Tila® bead, five dark gold seed beads, and the 6mm jumpring on the first portion of the clasp. Pass the thread back through the top hole on the gold Tila bead leaving a 2-inch tail. Tie the thread to the tail using two overhand knots to secure the thread to the clasp. Place a small amount of adhesive on the knot for added security (optional). Trim excess thread from the end.
STEP 4
String onto the thread two dark gold seed beads and one gold Tila bead (top hole) for one-hundred-five sets.
STEP 5
String five dark gold seed beads and the 6mm jumpring on the second portion of the clasp onto the clasp. Pass the thread back through the bottom hole on the previous gold Tila bead in the opposite direction. String onto the thread one green Tila bead (top hole) and the bottom hole on the next gold Tila bead.

Continue to string one green Tila bead (top hole) in between each of the gold Tila beads (bottom hole) for one-hundred-four sets.
STEP 6
String three dark gold seed beads after the last green Tila bead. Pass the thread back through the bottom hole on the previous green Tila bead in the opposite direction.

String onto the thread two dark gold seed beads and the bottom hole on the next gold Tila bead.

Continue to string two dark gold seed beads in between each of the green Tila beads (bottom hole) for thirty-nine sets, one gold Tila bead (top hole) in between each of the green Tila beads (bottom hole) for twenty-six sets, and two dark gold seed beads in between each of the green Tila beads (bottom hole) for thirty-nine sets.
STEP 7
String three dark gold seed beads after the last green Tila bead and pass the thread back up through the top hole on the green Tila bead. Pass the thread over the thread on the opposite side of the green Tila bead and tie two overhand knots to secure the end of the thread to the necklace. Place a small amount of adhesive on the knot for added security (optional). Trim excess thread from the end.
STEP 8
Cut a 60-inch length of FireLine. Attach the end of the line to the thread to after the first gold Tila bead on the third row. Pass the thread back through the first hole on the gold Tila bead going in the opposite direction.

String three dark gold seed beads before the first gold Tila bead and pass the thread back down through the bottom hole on the gold Tila bead.

Continue to string twenty-five green Tila beads between the gold Tila beads for the fourth row, twenty-four gold Tila beads between the green Tila beads for the fifth row, and twenty-three green Tila beads between the gold Tila beads for the sixth row.
STEP 9
String three gold Tila beads between the first four green Tila beads, three dark gold seed beads, back through the bottom hole on the third gold Tila bead in the opposite direction. String two green Tila beads between the bottoms of the gold Tila beads. String three dark gold seed beads and back through the upper hole on the first gold Tila bead. Weave the thread back through the beads to exit the top of the first green Tila bead.

String three dark gold seed beads and back through the bottom hole on the first green Tila bead. String one gold Tila bead between the bottoms of the green Tila beads. String three dark gold seed beads and back through the upper hole on the first green Tila bead. Weave the thread back through the beads to exit the top of the last gold Tila bead.

String three dark gold seed beads and back through the bottom hole on the single gold Tila bead. String six dark gold seed beads, the hole on one gold-finished 23x7mm spike, six dark gold seed beads and back through the bottom hole on the single gold Tila bead.
STEP 10
Weave the thread back up to the front of the fourth green bead on the sixth row. String three dark gold seed beads between the fourth and fifth green Tila beads and repeat Step 9 to create a second woven point with a spike.
STEP 11
Weave the thread back up to the front of the eighth green Tila bead on the sixth row. String three dark gold seed beads between the eighth and ninth green Tila beads and repeat Step 9 to create a second woven point with a spike, starting with six gold Tila beads (7th row), five green Tila beads (8th row), four gold Tila beads (9th row), three green Tila beads (10th row), two gold Tila beads (11th row), one green Tila bead (12th row), and one gold-finished 32x7mm spike.
STEP 12
Repeat Step 9 to create the last two woven points on the opposite side of the necklace.

Earrings

STEP 1
Using scissors cut a 60-inch length of smoke FireLine. Place a beading needle onto one end of the thread.
STEP 2
String onto the thread the bottom hole of one gold Tila bead and three dark gold seed beads. Pass the thread back through the top hole on the gold Tila bead leaving a 30-inch tail. Tie the thread to the tail using two overhand knots to secure the thread to the earwire. Place a small amount of adhesive on the knot for added security (optional). Trim excess thread from the end.
STEP 3
String onto the thread the top hole on the gold Tila bead and the bottom hole on one green Tila bead for six sets.
STEP 4
String the top hole on one gold Tila bead and three dark gold seed beads and pass the thread back through the bottom hole on the gold Tila bead in the opposite direction. String onto the thread one green Tila bead (top hole) and the bottom hole on the next gold Tila bead.

Continue to string one green Tila bead (top hole) in between each of the gold Tila beads (bottom hole) for six sets.
STEP 5
String three dark gold seed beads after the last green Tila bead. Pass the thread back through the top hole on the gold Tila bead in the opposite direction.

String onto the thread four green seed beads between the bottom holes of the gold Tila beads, and three dark gold seed beads.

String three gold Tila beads between the first four green Tila beads, three dark gold seed beads, back through the bottom hole on the third gold Tila bead in the opposite direction. String two green Tila beads between the bottoms of the gold Tila beads. String three dark gold seed beads and back through the upper hole on the first gold Tila bead. Weave the thread back through the beads to exit the top of the first green Tila bead.

String three dark gold seed beads and back through the bottom hole on the first green Tila bead. String one gold Tila bead between the bottoms of the green Tila beads. String three dark gold seed beads and back through the upper hole on the first green Tila bead. Weave the thread back through the beads to exit the top of the last gold Tila bead.

String three dark gold seed beads and back through the bottom hole on the single gold Tila bead. String six dark gold seed beads, the hole on one gold-finished 23x7mm spike, six dark gold seed beads and back through the bottom hole on the single gold Tila bead.
STEP 6
Weave the thread back up to the front of the fourth green Tila bead on the sixth row. Tie off the tail of the thread, glue and cut the tail off the end of the thread. Make sure not the pull the thread to tight.
STEP 7
Place the needle on the 30-inch length of thread on the first row of bead. Repeat Steps 4 and 5, replacing six dark gold seed beads and the loop on one earwire in place of the spike.
STEP 8
Repeat Steps 1 through 7 to create the second earring.
