Bracelet with Swarovski Crystals®, Cultured Freshwater Pearls and Seed Beads

STEP 1
Using flush-cutters cut one 1-1/2 inch length of silver-plated 3.5mm round and oval chain.

Using scissors cut one 36-inch length of FireLine® thread.

Note: The longer your thread, the farther you can work before you will have to add thread. It may be necessary to cut other lengths of thread later in the design.
STEP 2
Thread FireLine onto Needle Thread the FireLine onto a #10 beading needle almost doubling the thread (to make it easier to work with) but leaving a tail so you are working with only one thread.
STEP 3
Begin Stringing Swarovski Beads String onto the thread one Swarovski azore 4mm bicone and one Swarovski crystal AB 4mm bicone. Repeat to string a second set.
STEP 4
Pass the Thread Through the First Two Bicones Tie a knot in the thread so the bicones form a circle. Pass the needle and thread through the first two bicones added so the thread comes out of the bicone opposite the knot.
STEP 5
String Three More Bicones

Create Loop
String three more bicones continuing the color pattern. Pass the needle through the bicone in the same direction creating a loop, then pass the needle through the first two bicones just added. The thread will create a figure eight as each loop of bicones is added.

Continue adding sets of three bicones and creating loops for a total of five loops.

Note: After the last loop the thread should be coming out of the bottom of the last bicone. Be sure to keep the thread tight while creating your pattern.
STEP 6
Start Second Row of Bicone Loops Pass the needle through the adjacent ''bottom'' bicone. String three bicones then create a loop passing the needle through only one adjacent bicone.
STEP 7
Create Five Loops in Second Row String only two bicones this time then pass the needle through the next bottom bicone to the left, from the previous row, and the single adjacent bicone.

Pass the thread through the two bicones just added then continue the figure eight pattern until there are five loops in the second row.
STEP 8
Repeat Step 6 and 7 until the desired length is reached approximately thirteen rows.
STEP 9
Begin Decreasing Bracelet

Decreasing Pattern
To begin decreasing the bracelet pass the needle through the bottom bicone of the last loop then string three bicones. Pass the needle through the next bottom bicone to create the next loop.
STEP 10
Threading Pattern Repeat Step 9 to create a total of three loops in this row.
STEP 11
Decrease Row to a Single Loop

String Thread Back through Adjacent Bicones
Repeat Step 9 to decrease the next row to a single loop. Pass the needle back through several adjacent bicones to secure the thread then trim to finish.
STEP 12
Repeat Steps 1 - 11 to create the second half of the bracelet base.
STEP 13
Stitch Largest Ends of Bracelet Together Then Trim Thread Stitch the larger ends of the two parts of the bracelet base together through the last two rows of bicones on each part several times. Make sure to pass the thread in the same direction as the existing thread. Trim the thread.
STEP 14
Beginning at one decreased end of the bracelet base, stitch through the bicones along the edge a couple of times to secure the end of the thread. Add one silver-lined clear #15 seed bead between the third and fourth and fifth and sixth bicones.
STEP 15
Pass the needle through the next bicone then add two seed beads. Continue to stitch two seed bead between every bicone along the edge of the bracelet base to the other end.

Repeat Step 14 to add seed beads to the opposite decreasing end.
STEP 16
Repeat Steps 14 and 15 to add seed beads to the opposite edge of the bracelet base.
STEP 17
Create an approximately 1x1-inch right-angle weave square using Swarovski light turquoise 3mm bicones.

Beginning at one corner of the square, stitch one opaque fine silver-finished 4mm fringe seed bead and one silver-lined clear #15 seed bead. Continue to stitch along the side alternating one fringe seed bead and three #15 seed beads between each stitch.

Repeat to stitch seed beads around each side of the square.
STEP 18
Create two approximately 1/2 x 1/2 inch squares using Swarovski light turquoise 3mm bicones.

Beginning at one corner of the square, stitch one opaque fine silver-finished 4mm fringe seed bead. Continue to stitch one #15 seed beads between each bicone along the side. Repeat to stitch seed beads around each side of the square.
STEP 19
Stitch the surface of one side of the 1x1-inch square to the center of the bracelet base off-set so two corners over-hang the edges. Stitch one 1/2 x 1/2 inch square approximately 1/2 inch from the corner of the large square. Repeat to attach the second small square to the opposite side of the large square.
STEP 20
Secure a needle and thread to the front side of the square. String one Swarovski crystal AB 4mm bicone, one 2.5-3mm cultured freshwater pearl and one opaque luster teal #15 seed bead. Pass the needle back down through the pearl and bicone and through and adjacent bicone in the square.
STEP 21
Continue to stitch the following sets to adjacent bicones:
  • One Swarovski turquoise 4mm bicone, one 2.5-3mm cultured freshwater pearl and one opaque luster teal #15 seed bead
  • Two opaque luster teal #15 seed beads, one fringe seed bead and two opaque luster teal #15 seed beads
  • One Swarovski crystal AB 4mm bicone, one 2.5-3mm cultured freshwater pearl and one opaque luster teal #15 seed bead
Continue to stitch the bead sets from covering the surface of the square in a random pattern.
STEP 22
Create Swarovski Crystal Drop String onto one silver-plated 1-inch headpin one Swarovski turquoise 3mm bicone and one Swarovski light azore 6mm bicone. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire.
STEP 23
Secure Clasp to Bracelet Secure a needle and thread to the last bicone on one end of the bracelet base then string the jumpring on one sterling silver-filled lobster claw clasp. Continue to pass the needle through the same bicone several times to secure the clasp.

Pass the thread through several adjacent bicones to secure the threat. Trim excess thread.
STEP 24
Secure Chain to Opposite Side of Bracelet

Attaching Swarovski Crystal Drop to Chain End
Repeat Step 23 to attach the last link on the opposite end, from the bicone drop, to the opposite end of the bracelet.
