- Bead, gold-plated brass, 3mm smooth round (48 beads)
- Bead, riverstone, 8mm round (34 beads)
- Drop, mussel shell, orange, 20mm flat round (8 drops)
- Drop, mussel shell, peacock, 20mm flat round (8 drops)
- Drop, mussel shell, light green, 20mm flat round (8 drops)
- Drop, mussel shell, dark brown, 20mm flat round (5 drops)
- Crimp, 12Kt gold-filled, 2x2mm smooth tube, 1.1mm inside diameter (2 crimps)
- Crimp cover, gold-plated brass, 4mm round (2 crimp covers)
- Bead cap, gold-finished brass, 6x1.5mm flower with cutouts, fits 6-8mm bead (68 crimp covers)
- Wire protector, Accu-Guard, gold-plated brass, 4x4mm tube, 0.5mm inside diameter (2 wire protectors)
- Jumpring, gold-plated brass, 6.5x5mm oval, 18 gauge (31 jumprings)
- Earring, gold-plated brass, 23mm round hoop with 7 closed loops and latch-back closure (2 earrings)
- Clasp, toggle, gold-plated brass, 16mm plain round (1 clasp)
- Beading wire, Accu-Flex, nylon and stainless steel, Dijon gold, 49 strand, 0.019-inch diameter
- Adhesive, Loctite 409 Gel
- Pliers, flat-nose
- Pliers, bent-nose
- Pliers, crimping
- Pliers, flush-cutter
STEP 1
Attach one 6.5x5mm jumpring to 15 mussel shell 20mm round drops. (Set aside two dark brown and four of each remaining color drops and for earrings.)
STEP 2
Cut one 21-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.
STEP 3
String onto the beading wire one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end.
Crimp, then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a 4mm crimp cover.
STEP 4
String the following onto the beading wire:

One 6x1.5mm bead cap

One riverstone 8mm round

One 6x1.5mm bead cap

One 3mm round
Repeat this sequence to string a total of 10 sets.
STEP 5
Continue to string the following:

One mussel shell drop (in the pattern of your choice)

One 3mm round
-
One 6x1.5mm bead cap
-
One riverstone 8mm round
-
One 6x1.5mm bead cap
-
One 3mm round
Repeat this sequence to string a total of 15 sets.
STEP 6
Repeat the sequence in Step 4 to string eight sets. Continue to string one 6x1.5mm bead cap, one riverstone 8mm round and one 6x1.5mm bead cap then repeat Step 3 to secure the strand.
STEP 7
Pass one 6.5x5mm jumpring through the loop on one portion of the clasp and the first Accu-Guard on one end of the necklace then close. Repeat to attach the second portion of the clasp to the second Accu-Guard.
STEP 1
Pass one 6.5x5mm jumpring to through the hole in one peacock mussel shell 20mm round drop and the loop on one end of one 23mm round hoop earring then close.
Continue to attach one mussel shell drop to each loop on the hoop in the following order:

One orange mussel shell 20mm round drop

One light green mussel shell 20mm round drop

One dark brown mussel shell 20mm round drop

One light green mussel shell 20mm round drop

One orange mussel shell 20mm round drop

One peacock mussel shell 20mm round drop
STEP 2
Repeat to create a second earring.
