Single-Strand Necklace and Earring Set with Swarovski Crystal and Rhodium-Finished Pewter Drops

Necklace

STEP 1
Mix Devcon® 5-Minute® Epoxy according to manufacturer's instructions.

Apply a thin layer of epoxy to the center of the bezel of one 12x10mm tab clasp and to the back of one Siam pear fancy stone embellishment. Press the embellishment into the setting then allow the clasp to set for approximately 5 minutes.
STEP 2
Attach one 10.5x7.5mm triangle bail to one Siam 18x18mm heart drop. Pass one 4mm jumpring through the triangle bail and a second 4mm jumpring then close.
STEP 3
Pass one 4mm jumpring through the loop on one Siam 8x6mm oval drop and one 4mm jumpring then close. Attach one 4mm jumpring to the previous 4mm jumpring.

Repeat to create a total of 12 Siam drops with jumprings.
STEP 4
Cut one 22-inch length and one 60-inch length of Accu-Flex professional-quality beading wire.
STEP 5
String onto the beading wire: one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end.

Crimp, then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a 4mm crimp cover.
STEP 6
String onto the beading wire: one 3x1mm ribbed bead cap, one Siam 6mm round and one 3x1mm ribbed bead cap. Repeat this sequence to string a total of 10 sets.
STEP 7
Continue to string the following:
  • One crimp
  • Repeat this sequence to string 27 sets:
    • One hole on one light Siam montées
    • One Siam 5mm bicone
  • One hole on one light Siam montées
  • One crimp
Place a Bead Stopper™ on the end of the beading wire to secure.
STEP 8
Insert one end of the 60-inch length of beading wire into the crimp then crimp. Finish with a 3mm crimp cover.

Insert the beading wire through the first half of the hole on the first strung montées then out the top half of the second hole.
STEP 9
Close up of Stringing Montées Continue to weave the beading wire back and forth through the montées adding the following:
  • Two Siam 5mm bicones (top of strand)
  • One Siam 5mm bicone, one Siam drop with jumprings, one Siam 5mm bicone (bottom of strand)
  • Two Siam 5mm bicones (top of strand)
  • One Siam 5mm bicone, one Siam drop with jumprings, one Siam 5mm bicone (bottom of strand)
  • Two Siam 5mm bicones (top of strand)
  • Two Siam 5mm bicones, one Siam drop with jumprings, two Siam 5mm bicone (bottom of strand)
  • Two Siam 5mm bicones (top of strand)
  • Two Siam 5mm bicones, one Siam drop with jumprings, two Siam 5mm bicone (bottom of strand)
  • Two Siam 5mm bicones (top of strand)
  • Three Siam 5mm bicones, one Siam drop with jumprings, three Siam 5mm bicones (bottom of strand)
  • Two Siam 5mm bicones (top of strand)
  • Three Siam 5mm bicones, one Siam drop with jumprings, three Siam 5mm bicones (bottom of strand)
  • Two Siam 5mm bicones (top of strand)
STEP 10
Continue to string four Siam 5mm bicones, one Siam heart drop, four Siam 5mm bicones (bottom of strand) then repeat the sequence in Step 9 in the opposite direction.
STEP 11
Remove the Bead Stopper. String one crimp bead onto both lengths of beading wire then crimp. Trim excess from the 60-inch length of beading wire then finish with a 3mm crimp cover.
STEP 12
Repeat the sequence in Step 6 to finish stringing the necklace then repeat Step 5 to secure the strand.
STEP 13
Pass one 4mm jumpring through the Accu-Guard on one end of the strand and the loop on one portion of the clasp then close. Repeat to attach the opposite end of the strand to the second portion of the clasp.

Earrings

STEP 1
Pass one 6x4mm oval jumpring through the loop on one Siam 8x6mm oval drop and the loop on one 24x16mm open teardrop drop then close.

Attach one fishhook earwire to the loop on the open teardrop drop.

Repeat to create a second earring.
