Single-Strand Necklace and Earring Set with Brass Focal and Components, Cultured Freshwater Pearls and Swarovski® Crystals

Necklace

STEP 1
Cut two 5-1/2 inch lengths, one 1-inch length and one 2-1/2 inch length of 2.8mm and 3.5mm round chain.
STEP 2
String one peridot 3mm bicone, one copper 7-8mm rice pearl and one peridot 3mm bicone onto one 2-inch headpin then form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire. Repeat to create a total of 12 copper pearl drops.
STEP 3
String one peridot 3mm bicone, one copper 7-8mm rice pearl and one peridot 3mm bicone onto one 2-inch eyepin then form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire. Repeat to create a total of 4 copper pearl links.
STEP 4
Using a photocopied image of your choice approximately 40x30mm, attach the image using Omni-Gel™ to one 52x39mm hexagon blank focal.
STEP 5
Apply Forest flat backs in sizes 2.1, 2.4 and 2.9 in the pattern of your choice around the image.

Tip: The heat source may be applied to the bottom of the surface the flat backs are being adhered to help secure them.
STEP 6
Attach one Forest 2.1mm flat back on the front side of one 56.5x15mm filigree marquise component in one of the middle sections. Repeat to add a total of four flat backs to each section in the middle.

Repeat to add flat backs to a second marquise component.
STEP 7
Pass one 6mm jumpring through one bottom loop on the focal and the first link in the 1-inch length of chain. Pass one 6mm jumpring through the remaining bottom loop and the last link in the length of chain.

Repeat to attach the 2-1/2 inch length of chain.
STEP 8
Using one 5mm jumpring, attach one copper pearl drop to the top side hole of one filigree marquise component. Repeat to add a copper pearl drop to each of the side openings.

Repeat to add copper pearl drops to the second filigree marquise component.
STEP 9
Using one 6mm jumpring, connect one end of one copper pearl link to one of the top holes on the focal.

Using one 8x6mm oval jumpring, connect the opposite end of the previous copper pearl link to the top, horizontal hole of one filigree marquise component.
STEP 10
Using one 8x6mm oval jumpring, connect one end of one copper pearl link to the opposite top, horizontal hole of the previous filigree marquise component.

Using one 5mm jumpring, connect the opposite end of the copper pearl link to the first link in one 5-1/2 inch length of chain.

Using one 5mm jumpring, connect the last link in the 5-1/2 inch length to one portion of the toggle clasp.
STEP 11
Repeat Steps 9 - 10 to connect the opposite side of the necklace using the other portion of the toggle clasp.

Earrings

STEP 1
Cut four 1-1/2 lengths of 2.8mm and 3.5mm round chain.
STEP 2
Attach one Forest 4.8mm flat back to the front middle of one 19x19mm fancy square component. Repeat to attach one Forest flat back to each of the four corners.

Repeat to add flat backs to a second fancy square component.
STEP 3
String one peridot 3mm bicone, one copper 7-8mm rice pearl and one peridot 3mm bicone onto one 2-inch headpin then form a simple loop. Repeat to create a total of eight copper pearl drops.
STEP 4
Pass one 5mm jumpring through the opening to one side of one corner on the fancy square component. Pass one 5mm jumpring through the previous 5mm jumpring and one copper pearl drop then close.

Repeat for the opening on the other side of the previous corner. This will now be referred to as the bottom half.
STEP 5
Using one 5mm jumpring, attach one copper pearl drop to the opening on one side of the bottom corner. Repeat to add a copper pearl drop to the opposite side of the bottom corner.
STEP 6
Using one 5mm jumpring, connect the first link in one length of 2.8mm and 3.5mm round chain to the lower opening on one side of the top half of the fancy square component. Repeat to connect a second length of chain to the opposite side of the fancy square component.

Using one 5mm jumpring, connect the last link in each length of chain.
STEP 7
Using one 5mm jumpring, connect the loop on the earstud with the previous jumpring.
STEP 8
Repeat Steps 4 - 7 to create a second earring.
