Bracelet with Czech Pressed Glass Beads and Seed Beads

STEP 1
Cut a 4-yard length of FireLine® and thread a needle onto the end, leaving a 6-inch tail. Add a Bead Stopper™.
STEP 2
String onto the needle (through the top hole): one copper-lined transparent clear 5x2.5mm oval and three opaque matte rainbow light lavender #11 rounds.

Pull the thread tight then pass the needle around the first loop of one half of one 5-strand slide lock clasp four to five times to secure.

Repeat four more times tying the thread to each loop of the clasp after each set of beads.

String three opaque matte rainbow light lavender #11 seed beads onto the needle.
STEP 3
Continue to string onto the needle: one copper-lined transparent clear 5x2.5mm oval (through the top hole). Pass the needle back through the bottom hole of the 5x2.5mm oval.
STEP 4
String onto the needle one opaque purple luster 6mm disc through the top hole then pass the beading needle through the bottom hole of the next copper-lined oval from the previous row.

Continue to add one opaque purple luster 6mm disc between each copper-lined oval from the previous row.

Pass the needle through the bottom hole of the last copper-lined oval from the previous row then string onto the needle one copper-lined oval (this will start a new row).

Note: Pull the thread tight after each row of beads added going forward.
STEP 5
Pass the needle through the bottom hole of the last opaque purple luster 6mm disc added then string onto the needle one copper-lined oval. Continue to pass the needle back through the next opaque purple luster disc. Continue to add one copper-lined oval bead between each opaque purple luster 6mm disc.
STEP 6
Repeat the back-and-forth stringing pattern from Steps 3 - 5 adding the following rows of beads (making sure to add one copper-lined oval "spacer bead" between the top and bottom of each bead):
  • Two rows of:
    • Two opaque satin copper 6mm discs
    • One marbled opaque violet 6mm disc
    • Two opaque satin copper 6mm discs
  • One row of: five opaque purple luster 6mm discs
  • Two rows of: ten copper-lined transparent clear ovals (two beads between each "spacer" bead)
  • One row of: five opaque purple luster 6mm discs
  • Two rows of:
    • Two opaque satin copper 6mm discs
    • One marbled opaque violet 6mm disc
    • Two opaque satin copper 6mm discs
  • One row of: five opaque purple luster 6mm discs
  • One row of: ten copper-lined transparent clear ovals (two beads between each "spacer" bead)
  • One row of: five marbled opaque violet 6mm discs
  • One row of: ten copper-lined transparent clear ovals (two beads between each "spacer" bead)
STEP 7
Continue to add one row of five opaque satin copper 6mm discs then repeat Steps 2 - 6 in the opposite direction to string the second half of the bracelet.

Note: The thread should currently be exiting the last copper-lined oval through the hole closest to the clasp. In order to add the border in the next step, pass the needle back through the opposite hole of the same oval bead then through the next 6mm disc and back through the opposite hole of the same disc exiting the disc facing the edge.

Pass the needle through the bottom hole of the last copper-lined oval from the previous row.

Adding the Border

STEP 8
String onto the needle: three light lavender #11 rounds then pass the needle through the closest hole of the next copper-lined oval along the current edge.

Pass the needle back through the next hole of the same copper-lined oval.
STEP 9
Repeat Step 8 until a border has been added to the current side.

After adding the last set of seed beads, pass the needle through the closest hole of the last copper-lined oval on the current edge and through each bead in that row, exiting the last copper-lined oval bead on the opposite side through the hole farthest from the clasp.
STEP 10
Repeat Steps 8 - 9 to add a border to the second side of the bracelet.

Tie off the thread then pass the thread through a few beads to secure the strand. Remove the bead stopper from the opposite end of the thread and repeat to secure the thread.
