Bracelet with Macramé Hemptique® Hemp Cord and Silver-Plated Brass Cones

Intricate macramé made simple with this bracelet tutorial. Discover the secrets to this detailed bracelet design from start to finish, showing off how even simple techniques can be put to fancy application.
Cut two 3-inch lengths of 24-gauge wire and three 6-foot lengths of hemp cord.
Use lark's head knots to secure each length of hemp cord to one length of wire, centering each strand.
Insert the second length of wire through the second square knot. Bend one end of the wire at a 90-degree angle. Tightly wrap the opposite end of the wire around the ends of the cord.
Use the two outer cords to tie two square knots around the center cords.

Repeat Step 3 to secure the ends of the cords. Trim any excess cord from the end.
String a cone onto the straight end of the wire the create a wrapped loop. Use a 4mm jump ring to attach one half of a magnetic barrel clasp.

Repeat on the opposite end of the necklace.
