Cut the following lengths of 20-guage copper wire: six 9-inch lengths and three 10-inch lengths.
Align two of the 10-inch lengths of wire vertically then center the third 10-inch length of wire horizontally across the other two. Wrap one end of the horizontal wire once around the other two wires tightly. Use a pair of flat-nose pliers to tighten the wrap by "crimping" the loop.
Working with the horizontal wire, measure approximately 4-5mm from the center wrap then bend one side of the wire 90-degrees up (so it is parallel with the two vertical wires).
Repeat with the other side of the wire, bending it 90-degrees down
Place one 18mm round cabochon onto the wire, centering it onto the wrap. Using the top working wire, bring the wire around and horizontally across the front of the cabochon, leaving approximately 2-3mm from the wire to the top edge of the cabochon.
Repeat with the bottom working wire. Continue to wrap the bottom working wire around to the back of the cabochon then loop the tail around the two vertical wires. Trim excess.
Working with the two vertical wires, wrap both ends around 7mm tip of the Wubbers® large bail-making pliers. Wrap both wires around the base of the bail then bring the wires over the top of the cabochon toward the front.
Separate the two loops to form the bail into rabbit ears.
Create a spiral using one wire approximately 7mm in diameter, centered along the vertical axis of the cabochon but so the spiral is above the top horizontal wire. Trim excess.
Repeat with the other end of the wire, positioning the spiral below the top horizontal wire. Trim excess.
Working with the tail of the top horizontal wire, bring the wire around the back of the cabochon then wrap once around the base of the bail. Trim excess wire.
Working with one of the two vertical wires on the bottom, form a wrapped loop then trim excess wire.
Working with the final vertical wire, bend the wire 180-degrees up so it is pointing toward the top. For added security, weave the tail of the wire in a figure-8 pattern around both sides of the horizontal wire. Trim excess.
Repeat Steps 2 - 7 to create two more wire-wrapped cabochons using the 9-inch lengths of wire and the two 14mm round cabochons.
Cut the following:
3.5mm curb chain:
One 1/4 inch length
Three 1/2 inch lengths
Two 7-inch lengths
20-guage copper wire:
One 4-inch length
Three 6-inch lengths
One 8-inch length
Creating the Drops
String one 6mm bicone onto a head pin then form a wrapped loop. Pass one jump ring through the wrapped loop then close. Attach a second jump ring to the first. Set aside.
String one 4mm bicone onto a head pin then form a wrapped loop. Pass one jump ring through one end of one 1/2 inch length of chain then close. Set aside.
String one 4mm bicone and one 6mm bicone onto a head pin then form a wrapped loop. Pass one jump ring through the wrapped loop then close. Attach a second jump ring to the first. Set aside.
Pass one jump ring through one end of one 1/2 inch length of chain and one 10x7mm leaf charm then close. Set aside.
Pass one jump ring through one end of the 1/4 inch length of chain and one 10x7mm leaf charm then close. Attach a jump ring to the opposite end of the chain. Set aside.
Creating the Bicone Link
Form a wrapped loop on one end of the 4-inch length of wire, stringing one 20mm grape leaf charm onto the loop before finishing the wrap.
String one 6mm bicone and one 4mm bicone onto the wire then form a wrapped loop, attaching it to the wrapped loop of the 20mm wrapped cabochon component.
Pass one jump ring through each of the drop components from Steps 2 - 5 and the remaining wrapped loop from the bicone link then close.
String one 4mm bicone onto a head pin then form a wrapped loop, attaching it to the wrapped loop on the cabochon component.
Attach one 10x7mm leaf charm to the wrapped loop of the cabochon component using a jump ring.
Creating the Gemstone Links
Form a wrapped loop on one end of a 6-inch length of wire, attaching it to one end of one 7-1/2 inch length of chain.
String onto the wire: one 7x5mm teardrop, one 6mm bicone and one 7x5mm teardrop then form a wrapped loop, attaching it to one end of a 1/2 inch length of chain.
Pass the 1/2 inch length of chain through the rabbit ears bail then repeat Step 9 in the opposite direction.
Creating the Clasp
Using the remaining 6-inch length of wire, form a wrapped loop on one end, attaching it to the end of one of the 7-inch lengths of chain. Form two wraps around the base. Trim excess.
Leaving approximately 1mm of space above the wrapped loop, use the 9mm jaw of the Wubbers round mandrel pliers to create a loop in the wire. Finish the wrapped loop using the tail of the wire then trim excess.
Fold the 8-inch length of wire in half. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, create a 90-degree bend at the base of both wires, approximately 2mm from the fold. Loop both tails around a pair of round-nose pliers in the opposite direction of the previous 90-degree bend, forming a hook.
With one tail, form a wrapped loop, attaching it to the remining 7-inch length of chain. Create two wraps with this tail then trim excess. With the other tail, finish the wrapped loop then trim excess.
Cut two 4-1/4 inch lengths of 20-gauge copper wire.
Repeat Steps 2 - 8 of the Necklace instructions to create the link and drops using one of the 14mm cabochon components.
Using one 4-1/4 inch length of wire, measure 1/4 inch from one end then bend the wire approximately 45 degrees. Place the wire onto the 21mm jaw of the Wubbers jumbo round mandrel pliers. Starting at the base of the 45-degree bend, wrap the wire around the jaw of the pliers in the opposite direction until there is approximately a 1/4 inch gap between the 1/4 inch shank and the tail of the wire.
Bend the tail so that it is parallel with the previous 1/4 inch shank.
Place the wire onto a steel bench block then use a texture hammer to flatten and texture the back half of the hoop.
String one 4mm bicone and one 6mm bicone onto the tail of the wire then form a wrapped loop around the bail of the 14mm cabochon component.
Repeat Steps 2 - 6 to create a second earring.
