What inspired you to donate your bead(s) to Circle of Hope?

I was inspired to donate to your cause because unfortunately I have had several friends and two family members who have had breast cancer. I have been donating to this cause for years either by donating money or my time. My grandmother died of this disease in 1966, so it has been a long road. I am also the mother of 3 grown children and am retired and decided to give back in many ways at this time of my life. I am a big sister through the Big Brothers and Sisters of America, teach adults to read through our local Literacy program, donate time at our local YMCA, and I work with many other organizations in my community of Camarillo, CA whenever I can. After care giving for my ill 89 year old mother-in-law, I decided to make something out of recycled materials that I could sell and share with others. Anyway, I am so glad to have had the opportunity to share my beads with you and your wonderful cause.
