Being in a creative space with only thoughts of what I'm designing.

I shop at Fire Mountain Gems and Beads, Michaels, and Hobby Lobby.

Turquoise Delight

What inspired this design?
The pendant.

How did it come together?
It took some time designing and changed appearance a few times before it was done, has a matching bracelet and earrings.

When and how did you begin making jewelry/beading?
2 years ago I joined a bead group at church making prayer beads for hospice then started experimenting at home.

Who introduced you to beading?
Bead group at church.

Do you have an artistic background?
I have done oil paintings.

Searching for cool beads.

What other hobbies do you have?
Guitar, reading, movies.

Do you belong to any beading societies or beading groups?
Church bead group.

What role does jewelry-making play in your life?
It's a part-time hobby and small business career.

If you used jewelry-making as a way to bring in income, how are you selling yourself and your jewelry?
We have shows and join bazaars and community art and craft festivals. Plan on becoming more involved in festivals.

Do you participate in any charity fundraisers?
I do the prayer beads for hospice (and friends).

Enjoy the art and share with a friend.
