Where do you live?
Describe your artistic style.
What inspires you as a designer-artist?

Seed beads, pearls, crystal, occasionally gemstones.

What inspired this design?
I am first and foremost a proud, patriotic American, but I am also proud of my Irish heritage. I wish people knew more about the tremendous contributions the Irish immigrants made in the development of America.
How did it come together? For example, did you plan it out or did it define itself once you began working?
It more or less defined itself as I worked on it.

Who introduced you to beading?
A friend suggested I try it but she was not a beader.

How did you discover Fire Mountain Gems and Beads®?

Sew, knit, embroidery, photography, reading.
What role does jewelry-making play in your life?
Hobby. I find beading relaxing. You have to concentrate when bead weaving so it distracts you from the frustrations of the day.

We have jewelry in a local store and in a hospital gift shop.
Do you participate in any charity fundraisers?

Any advice for aspiring jewelry-artists?
