Design Idea E30B Necklace, Bracelet and Earrings
by Bryan Nealy, Exclusively for Fire Mountain Gems and Beads®

Among the trendy haute couture seen at the Paris Fashion Week in the fall of 2014, pearls were a commonly seen element and seem poised for an explosive 2015 in fashion and jewelry designs. While pearls are a trendy item in 2015, they've always had a special place in our culture. They often bring to mind classic images from the mid-century; suburban mom with her single-strand pearl necklace, mingling at the country club on a perfect summer day. But in 2015, pearls are no long bound to the simple, classic look.

Pearls in 2015 A stunning earrings, bracelet and necklace ensemble caught between the simplicity of the mid-century and the sparkle of today; this design leaves no doubt about the timeless beauty of pearls. This set utilizes the design rule of three on the earrings, with designer quality pearls and Swarovski mini rondelles. Each piece of this set is strong enough to stand on its own, but worn together, the whole is more special than the sum of the parts.

For the designer who wants to go 180 degrees from the traditional look, this bracelet will do the trick. Neon pearls provide the contemporary style that would fit in at a music festival, while giving a nod to the past with antiqued bead caps and cord ends. It's hard to imagine Jackie O wearing these pearls! Pearls in 2015

Pearls in 2015 This earring, bracelet and necklace set is a bit of a smorgasbord, but the glowing neon pearls are the eye-catchers here. This design idea shows how to combine trendy elements into one cohesive design, leading with Swarovski pearls and supporting with everything from chevrons, chips, clocks and keys. Clearly, pearl style isn't what it used to be ... it's better!
