Clocks with Lazer Lace™ Drops and Swarovski Crystal Components
What time is it?
Time for a new clock. Make a custom, designer clock for yourself or as a gift. It's fun and easy to do--in less than 20 minutes. This is a great project to do with kids for Christmas and Father's Day gifts.
: : : Materials : : :
1 inexpensive, battery-operated clock (with batteries)
1 - 3 sheets craft paper in complementary colors and contrasting patterns
1 can spray adhesive
Remove the clock's plastic front or back and detach the hands from the battery mechanism.
Using the existing face as a template, trace the outline onto the back of your craft paper. Using that as your guide, cut out other smaller shapes, if desired, to add contrast to the original paper.
Apply spray adhesive to the original face of the clock and affix the new, craft-paper one. Add any additional paper desired for contrast. Glue Lazer Lace™ components onto the new face in the numerical positions. Add Swarovski crystals to the Lazer Lace and/or surrounding areas of the clock face to enhance the paper patterns.
Reassemble the hands and front or back pieces. Hang in your work station, child's room, kitchen, patio or anywhere it can be enjoyed by all.
