How to use the My Style Deco Art™ Adhesive Sheets

Instructions by Rachel, Content Development Group, Exclusively for Fire Mountain Gems and Beads®

See how quick and fun it is to embellish jewelry or all sorts of other surfaces with My Style Deco Art™ adhesive sheets. Get inspired by the design possibilities of these peel-off jewelry-making supplies.
Match up the desired area on My Style Deco Art Adhesive Sheets to the component to be embellished.
Use fine tip scissors between the rows, or flush-cutters if cutting the squares, to cut out a section to match the shape of the component, or separate individual squares for a custom mosaic design.

Tip: Appropriately sized die cutters or other scrapbook punches easily create consistent shapes.
Remove the backing from the Deco Art embellishment then position it onto the smooth surface of the component.

  • It's important to not touch the adhesive on the back of the sheet after the backing has been removed. This will drastically reduce the effectiveness of the adhesive and cause the sheet not to stay affixed as desired.
  • If desired, use an additional adhesive such as Devcon® or E6000® Fray Lock™ for a permanent seal on items used regularly or have an irregular surface
  • My Style Déco Art sheets are not waterproof
If desired, use hole punch pliers to punch a hole through the entire finished component.

Use organza ribbon or other thin material as a reinforcement to create My Style Deco Art Adhesive components on their own for use as bracelets, main earring components and more.
