How to Make a Custom Charm

STEP 1

Remove all punches from the steel disc cutter. |
STEP 2

Slide the metal sheet or item being punched between the plates of the disc cutter. |
STEP 3

|
Place the size punch you want into the appropriate opening on the cutter base. Hit the punch once with a heavy hammer. |
STEP 4

|
Remove the metal sheet; the cut-out disc will be separate. |
STEP 5
 |
|
Position the disc into an opening on the steel hole punch. Twist the handle of the punch until a hole is punched out. |
STEP 6
 |
|
Place the disc onto a steel block. Position a letter or number on the disc, and, with a heavy steel hammer, hit the end of the punch.Repeat to create a saying of your choice. |
STEP 7
Using a pair of flat-nose pliers and a pair of chain-nose pliers, open a jumpring.
STEP 8
Put the open jumpring through the charm. Close the jumpring.
