Instructions provided by WigJig

STEP 1
Cut a segment of wire 4 inches long. For your first effort use 20-gauge wire. As you become experienced you can increase your wire size to 18-gauge.
STEP 2
Make a loop in one end of this wire using your round-nose pliers or wire-wrapping pliers.
STEP 3
Straighten this wire using your nylon jaw pliers.
STEP 4
Position one metal pegs and one 7/16 inch Super Pegs in your jig. Place your initial loop on peg 1.
STEP 5
Wrap your wire around the Super Peg and to the right side of the regular peg.
STEP 6
Wrap your wire around the metal peg.
STEP 7
Remove the wire from your jig. The wire will naturally spring apart.
STEP 8
Insert the two loops in the wire into your wire-wrapping pliers or your round-nose pliers. Grasp the wire firmly. Wrap the wire around the neck of the wire about 3 times. Cut the excess wire and using your chain-nose pliers, squeeze the cut end of the wire flat.
STEP 9
Now we are ready to connect the beads to the bottom of the raindrop wire component. Begin with a piece of 21- or 22-gauge 1/2 round wire, or 22- or 24-gauge round wire 2 inches long. Make a loop in one end of the wire about 1/2 to 3/4 inch from the end.

Position this loop as shown.
STEP 10
Wrap the short side of the "U" shapped bend around the side of the raindrop wire component 2 times. Cut the excess wire. Squeeze the cut wire tail flat using your chain-nose or bent chain-nose pliers.
STEP 11
Add one size 11 seed bead, one 8mm bead and one size 11 seed bead to the wire.
STEP 12
Position the fine gauge wire as shown at left and wrap the end of the wire around that side of the raindrop wire component two times. Cut the excess wire. Squeeze the cut wire tail flat using your chain-nose or bent chain-nose pliers.
STEP 13
Now we are ready to assemble the earrings. Using a medium jumpring, or a modified figure 8 connector, connect the top of the raindrop component to a segment of commercial chain about 3/4 to 1-inch long.
STEP 14
Connect the top of the chain to your earwire finding.
