STEP 1
The central part of the necklace consists of three elements: a flower and two buds. Work flower and buds in Ndebele technique (fig. 1). Firstly bead the central flower (fig. 1a). Work the first bud, connecting two parts together along the marked line on the diagram (fig. 1b). Work the second bud, attaching it to the first one (fig. 1c).

Work the basic row for each element (fig. 2). Pick up seed beads, using figure 1 as a guide. The basic row is marked as O for each element. Bead the element in one direction coming from the basic row (fig. 3, fig. 1). Bead till the end. The last row is marked as X. Go back to the basic row and work symmetrically (fig. 1).
STEP 1

Work the lace chain of the desired length, using B, C, F (fig. 4).

Attach the chain to the central part of the necklace (fig. 5). Go back along the inner edge of the chain, working F (see the second row of figure 4).

Attach one half of the clasp to the necklace (fig. 6).
STEP 4
Attach the other half symmetrically to the necklace.
