How to Use a Jump Ring Maker

STEP 1
Select desired mandrel size and screw into tool.
STEP 2
Put 1 inch of wire through hole on tool. Bend short end of wire flat against bottom of tool.
STEP 3
Bend long end of wire flat against top of tool.
STEP 4
Wrap wire around mandrel.
STEP 5
Secure straight end of wire in vise.
STEP 6
While holding wire taut, insert finger in tool hole and turn until desired coil length is achieve.
Using flush-cutters, sever both ends of wire.
Slide coil from mandrel.
Cut coils into jumprings using flush-cutters or jeweler's saw.
