Q.
I have invested a lot of money for the best tools you carry, Lindstrom. They are tarnished now, how can I refresh them and make them like new again?
- Janice
A.
To clean tarnish or rust, spray the metal with WD-40 and lightly buff them with steel wool then wipe clean with a cotton cloth. To keep the tools conditioned, apply a light coat of WD-40 or 3-in-1 oil and wipe excess away with a cotton cloth. Be sure to only oil the steel areas and not the grips.
