Q.
What is the best method for removing the smell that some acrylic beads have without damaging them?
- Diana
A.
Remove the beads from their packaging and allow them time to air out. If the beads are not painted and are without applied decorative embellishments, you can wash them with a gentle soap and water then allow to air dry. Store the beads in a breathable bag or container with a fabric softener sheet to help with the plastic smell.
