Bracelet with Swarovski Crystal Beads and Magnetic Clasp and Seed Beads

A feast for the eyes! Fringe design offers a complex, organic look, while Swarovski crystal adds color and flash.

STEP 1
Separate your clasp halves. One half has the Swarovski crystal and a bar on one end for stringing. The other half is a flat piece of metal with 2 holes to string your Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire through. Be sure to use the correct holes when attaching your beading wire, and that the clasp is facing the correct direction.

Using a flexible measuring tape, measure your wrist.
STEP 2
Cut a 9-inch length of Accu-Flex beading wire. Thread on a crimp tube and a 3mm round bead. Pass the wire through one hole on the bottom half of the clasp, then back through the round bead and the crimp tube. Snug up the wire so the round bead is close to the clasp and little wire is showing. Crimp the crimp tube using crimping pliers.
STEP 3
Bring both wires together and string one 3mm round bead, one 8mm Swarovski bicone crystal and one 3mm round bead over both wires.
STEP 4
Continue stringing over both wires, adding size 8 seed beads. String about 6 inches worth of size 8 seed beads, so you'll have a bracelet that will fit your wrist. Be sure to factor in the length of the 8mm Swarovski bicone crystal and 3mm round beads and crimps. You'll want the core bracelet to be a little bigger than your wrist measurement as the fringe takes up some length.

Crimp the beading wires onto the bar on the Swarovski half of the magnetic clasp.

Be sure to leave about the width of a size 8 seed bead between the beads and the crimp, so you can get your needle in between the beads as they begin to fill with fringe.

You have completed the core of your fringe bracelet and are now ready to begin adding fringe.

Adding the Fringe

STEP 5
Thread your needle with about 3 yards of thread--do not knot the end. Bring the thread through the first size 8 bead in the core. Pull the thread through the bead, leaving about a 4-inch tail, which you'll use to knot with later.
STEP 6
Add four size 11 seed beads and one size 15. Bring your needle back through the size 11s, bypassing the size 15 bead which will be your stop bead, keeping the size 11s on the thread. Continue bringing the needle through the next size 8 bead in the core. You've just created your first fringe.
STEP 7
Pick up 6 size 11 seed beads, one crystal and one size 15. Pass the needle back through the crystal, the size 11 beads, and then up through the next size 8 seed bead in the core; the size 15 will be the stop bead, keeping all the beads on the thread.
STEP 8
Pick up 6 size 11 seed beads and one fringe bead. Pass the needle back through the size 11 beads and up the next size 8 bead in the core. The fringe bead will be the stop bead, keeping all the size 11 seed beads on the thread. Continue adding fringe down the length of the core bracelet, varying the bead you end with to create texture and interest.
STEP 9

When you get to the end, exit the last size 8 seed bead.

Create a fringe equal to the first fringe you created, pass back up the size 8 bead you just exited, reverse your direction and start heading back down the core.

Repeat making fringe down the length of the core to complete a second row of fringe.
STEP 10
When you get to the end, repeat Step 9. Add as many rows of fringe as you'd like until you're happy with the fullness of your bracelet.
