Earrings with Swarovski Crystal

STEP 1
Using flush-cutters, cut the following lengths of sterling silver flat cable chain: two 4-link, two 5-link, two 7-link and one 9-link.
STEP 2
Open an earwire and thread onto it the last link of each length of chain, working in the following order: 4-link, 5-link, 7-link, 9-link, 7-link, 5-link and 4-link.
STEP 3
Onto a ball headpin, slide one 6mm crystal silver shade rondelle. Using the round-nose pliers, form a 90-degree bend in the headpin above the bead. Using the flush-cutters, trim the wire, leaving 3/8 inch. Using the round-nose pliers, turn a simple loop.
STEP 4
Repeat Step 3, using one bead and one headpin for each, to create the following: two 4mm olivine rounds, one 4mm padparadscha round, one 6mm padparadscha AB round, one 8mm golden shadow crystal rondelle and one 8mm crystal silver shade helix for a total of six bead drops.
STEP 5
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, open the loop on the top of a 4mm olivine crystal round bead drop and pass the open loop through the last link of one 4-link length of chain. Close the loop to secure.

Attach the remaining crystal drops in the following order:
  • 6mm padparadscha AB crystal rondelle
  • 6mm crystal silver shade crystal rondelle
  • 8mm crystal silver shade crystal helix
  • 8mm golden shadow crystal rondelle
  • 4mm padparadscha crystal round
  • 4mm olivine crystal round
STEP 6
Use nylon jaw pliers to straighten the top of the earwire.

Slide one olivine freeform crystal and one 4mm padparadscha round onto the earwire.
STEP 7
Use round-nose pliers to return the earwire to its original shape.
STEP 8
Repeat Steps 1 - 7 for the second earring.
