Triple-Strand Necklace and Earring Set with Cultured Freshwater Pearls, Swarovski Crystal and Plastic Beads and Accu-Flex® Beading Wire

Necklace

STEP 1
Using chain-nose and bent-nose pliers, open two gunmetal-plated 5mm jumprings. Pass one jumpring through the loop on half of one gunmetal-finished swirl hook-and-eye clasp and one gunmetal-finished 4x2mm crimp tube. Close the jumpring.

Repeat with the other half of the clasp.
STEP 2
Using flush-cutters cut three 24-inch lengths of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.
STEP 3
Insert the end of the lengths of beading wire into one crimp tube added in Step 1. Place a small amount of E-6000® Jewelry and Craft Adhesive inside the crimp.

Using chain-nose pliers, flatten the center of the crimp tube to secure all three lengths of beading wire.
STEP 4
Onto the three lengths of beading wire, string one gunmetal-plated 2mm crimp bead. Pull the beading wire so the crimp bead rests snugly against the crimp tube.

Place a small amount of adhesive (G-S Hypo cement) inside the crimp (optional). Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead. Using flush-cutters trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Place one gunmetal-plated stardust 4mm crimp cover over the crimp bead then gently close it.

First Strand

STEP 5
On one length of beading wire, string one crimp bead. Pull the wire until the crimp rests approximately 4-3/4 inches from the crimp cover added in Step 4.

Place a small amount of adhesive (G-S Hypo cement) inside the crimp (optional). Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead.

Place crimp cover over the crimp bead then gently close it.
STEP 6
Continue to string the following onto the beading wire:
  • One black cherry 6-7mm button pearl
  • One Swarovski crystal and plastic 6x3mm mini rondelle
  • One black cherry 6-7mm button pearl
STEP 7
String one crimp bead onto the beading wire. Pull the wire until the crimp rests snugly against the button pearl.

Place a small amount of adhesive (G-S Hypo cement) inside the crimp (optional). Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead.

Place one crimp cover over the crimp bead then gently close it.
STEP 8
Perform Steps 5 - 7 at 2-1/4 inch intervals along the beading wire two more times.

Second Strand

STEP 9
On the second length of beading wire, string one crimp bead. Pull the wire until the crimp rests approximately 7-1/4 inches from the crimp cover added in Step 4.

Place a small amount of adhesive (G-S Hypo cement) inside the crimp (optional). Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead.

Place one cover over the crimp bead then gently close it.
STEP 10
String the following pattern onto the beading wire:
  • One black cherry 6-7mm button pearl
  • One Swarovski crystal and plastic 6x3mm mini rondelle
  • One black cherry 7-8mm rice pearl
  • One Swarovski crystal and plastic 6x3mm mini rondelle
  • One black cherry 6-7mm button pearl
STEP 11
String one crimp bead onto the beading wire. Pull the wire until the crimp rests snugly against the button pearl.

Place a small amount of adhesive (G-S Hypo cement) inside the crimp (optional). Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead.

Place one crimp cover over the crimp bead then gently close it.
STEP 12
Perform Steps 9 - 11 at a 1-1/4 inch interval along the beading wire one more time.

Third Strand

STEP 13
On the third length of beading wire, string one crimp bead. Pull the wire until the crimp rests approximately 6 inches from the crimp cover added in Step 4.

Place a small amount of adhesive (G-S Hypo cement) inside the crimp (optional). Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead.

Place one cover over the crimp bead then gently close it.
STEP 14
Continue to string the following onto the beading wire:
  • One black cherry 6-7mm button pearl
  • One Swarovski crystal and plastic 6x3mm mini rondelle
  • One black cherry 6-7mm button pearl
STEP 15
String one crimp bead onto the beading wire. Pull the wire until the crimp rests snugly against the button pearl.

Place a small amount of adhesive (G-S Hypo cement) inside the crimp (optional). Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead.

Place one crimp cover over the crimp bead then gently close it.
STEP 16
Repeat Step 13, resting the first crimp bead approximately 2 inches from the last crimp cover added in Step 15.
STEP 17
String the pattern used in Step 10 onto the beading wire, then repeat Step 15.
STEP 18
Repeat Steps 13 - 15, resting the first crimp approximately 2 inches from the last crimp cover added in Step 17.
STEP 19
Onto the three lengths of beading wire, string one gunmetal-plated 2mm crimp bead. Pull the beading wires so the strands are balanced to your liking.

Place a small amount of adhesive (G-S Hypo cement) inside the crimp (optional). Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead. Using flush-cutters trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Place one 4mm gunmetal-plated stardust crimp cover over the crimp bead then gently close it.
STEP 20
Insert the end of the lengths of beading wire into one crimp tube added in Step 1. Place a small amount of E-6000 Adhesive inside the crimp.

Using chain-nose pliers, flatten the center of the crimp tube to secure all three lengths of beading wire.

Trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire.
STEP 21
Pass one 5mm jumpring through the loop of the crimp tube and the loop of the opposite half of the clasp. Close the jumpring.

Earrings

STEP 1
Using flush-cutters cut the following:
  • Two 3-1/2 inch lengths of Accu-Flex beading wire
  • Two 2-inch lengths of Accu-Flex beading wire
STEP 2
Insert the ends of one 2 inch length of beading wire and one 3-1/2 inch length of beading wire into one 4x2mm gunmetal-finished crimp tube. Place a small amount of G-S Hypo cement inside the crimp.

Using chain-nose pliers flatten the center of the crimp tube.
STEP 3
Onto the 2-inch beading wire string one gunmetal-plated 2mm crimp bead. Bring the crimp bead to rest approximately 3/4 of an inch from the crimp tube added in Step 2.

Place a small amount of adhesive (G-S Hypo cement) inside the crimp (optional). Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead. Place one gunmetal-plated stardust 4mm crimp cover over the crimp bead and close gently.
STEP 4
String the following onto the 2-inch beading wire:
  • One blackberry 6-7mm button pearl
  • One Swarovski crystal and plastic 6x3mm mini rondelle
  • One blackberry 6-7mm button pearl
  • One crimp bead
Bring the crimp bead snugly against the last pearl strung. Place a small amount of adhesive (G-S Hypo cement) inside the crimp (optional). Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead and add a crimp cover.

Trim the short end of the beading wire approximately 1/4 of an inch from the last crimp cover added.
STEP 5
On the 3-1/2 inch beading wire string one crimp bead. Bring the crimp bead to rest approximately 1-3/4 inches away from the crimp tube added in Step 2. Crimp the crimp bead and add a crimp cover.
STEP 6
String the following onto the 3-1/2 inch beading wire:
  • One blackberry 6-7mm button pearl
  • One Swarovski crystal and plastic 6x3mm mini rondelle
  • One blackberry 7-8mm rice pearl
  • One Swarovski crystal and plastic 6x3mm mini rondelle
  • One blackberry 6-7mm button pearl
  • One crimp bead
Bring the crimp bead snugly against the last pearl strung. Place a small amount of G-S Hypo cement inside the crimp. Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead and add a crimp cover.

Trim the short end of the beading wire approximately 1/4 of an inch from the last crimp cover added.
