Chrome diopside is prized for its saturated green color, created by the presence of chromium, and is considered one of the most vivid naturally occurring green gemstones in the world.
Each natural, untreated bead is hand-cut, then graduated along the 8-inch strand from smaller stones at each end to larger in the center (approximately 95 beads). With tiny drill holes, these beads are ideal for fine-gauge wire and delicate stringing.
