The flattened area—or paddle—of this sterling silver head pin adds a distinctive design element at the end of a dangle. Shining sterling silver brings a cool elegance to designs and will patina over time for an antiqued look. Add beads as in standard head pin use for a subtle flash or string a line of them unembellished for a glittering metal fringe. Paddle pins have an anti-tarnish coating.
