Quality leverback ear wires have a stylish shield design and a loop for attaching a drop. Leverbacks have a hinge-back, creating a secure and durable closure. This style features a small notch near the end of the wire, which is inserted through a hole the back of the finding. The notch sits over the edge of the hole, locking it in place. To open, lift up on the end of the wire that extends beyond the hole, and it will slide out.
Sterling silver ear wires are sold per pair. Ear wires have an anti-tarnish coating.
