Aleene's® Fabric Fusion® adhesive is an ideal no-sew, no-heat solution for using fabrics in mixed media designs. The dual-ended pen offers creators the flexibility of fine control and large surface coverage with a precision tip on one end and a sponge applicator on the other. Fabric Fusion adheres to a range of materials: cotton, polyester, silk, wool and stretch synthetics. Glue dries clear, flexible and machine washable.
To use, prewash fabrics (do not use fabric softeners) before applying adhesive.
• Add glue to fabric, embellishment or both.
• Press onto garment.
• If necessary, hold in position with tape or pins until set. Let dry for 24 hours.
• Fabric is washable within 48 hours. Be sure to turn fabric or garment inside out or place within fine washables (lingerie) laundry pouch. Hand wash and air dry (or wash on gentle cycle and dry on low heat).
Fabric Fusion has a non-acidic pH, ideal for archival quality paper and cloth paper/rag paper (a paper made from scraps of fabric). Not recommended for felt, fleece or plastic-backed patches. Do not dry clean.
