Sterling Silver-Filled
Sterling silver-filled ear wires have a high-perceived value at a fraction of the cost of sterling silver. Sterling silver-filled ear wires are made of a durable outer layer of sterling silver surrounding a copper-alloy core. Finished with an additional silver plating for uniformity and an anti-tarnish coating to preserve the beauty. Fishhook ear wires are packaged in multiple pairs for easy resale.
For optimal results, use nylon jaw pliers or pliers dipped in Tool Magic® heavy-duty rubber coating when working with sterling silver-filled ear wires to prevent scratching or marring. Contains 10% silver, 1/10 silver filled. Stamped ".925/10SF."
Guard against accidental earring loss by using Bead Huggers™ or other plastic safety earnuts. These slide easily onto ear wires to keep earrings safely in place. Plastic earnuts are also great for securing earrings to resale display cards.
