Plated steel bolo slide works with wide cord or multiple smaller cords together. First glue a cabochon or ornament to the front face of the bolo slide then slide the cord through the loops. Loops can be gently loosened or tightened with pliers. Using pliers, attach the bolo cord tips by evenly crimping the tabs at the wide part of the tip against the cord. Adjusting the bolo tie is simple: just loosen or tighten the tie by sliding the cord.
