Mesmera is a fascinating color that changes from light purple in natural light to green in synthetic light, sometimes appearing light blue. This effect is achieved through Color Shift Technology, developed by Preciosa with the Czech Academy of Science. The stones contain a rare mineral that causes the color shift under different light conditions.
Inspired by the ethereal glow of the Aurora Borealis, Preciosa's AB effect is a special coating bonded to the surface of the crystal's facets. This coating adds a dimensional, iridescent rainbow effect to the base color.
