Smoky quartz gets its tell-tale color from non-harmful, environmentally safe irradiation. Smoky quartz is thought to evoke positive feelings of acceptance and calmness in those who wear it. Smoky lemon quartz is created by heating the stone to extremely high temperatures in the presence of iron. This heating process is what gives smoky lemon quartz its brilliant, yellow color with a tinge of grey hue.
Beads are temporarily strung with spacers to protect against chipping, with tassels on each end for a pleasing display.
