Tigereye (also called "tiger's eye stone") is silicified crocidolite in quartz. When heat treated, tigereye acquires this deep rest color. According to metaphysical beliefs, general tigereye is an intense and protective stone. These red tigereye beads are given a matte finish rather than a traditional bright polish. Sizes, shapes and colors may vary with handcrafted items. Package contains approximately 30 beads.
